I ordered 2 matching laptops for my kids. One came as ordered, but the second was actually an upgrade (a 2017 w more ram), so that was nice. The 2015 arrived spotless, the 2017 was a little less so, but nothing horrible. I cleaned it up before I put the cases and screen protectors on. It did take me some time to get both laptops upgraded to a newer version of the mac operating system, but it was manageable and both laptops are serving us well. These are supposed to meet the minimum requirement for Minecraft, but unfortunately they overheat very quickly, so that’s a no-go. Other than that- they have been great and for a reasonable price. We use these primarily for homeschooling, so the continuity of being able to airdrop and share apps and game purchases has been great. Online learning platforms are functioning great and the batteries seem more than adequate for our needs. With a couple of hard cases and keypad protectors purchased elsewhere, I think we are set. Overall, we are very happy with our refurbished macbook purchases.

This macbook is old but let me tell you, it’s awesome! it works as if it wasn’t old, you just have to youtube how to update it more to the modern update. This was a cheap but totally worth the money spent on it!

Had a few problems with the computer, but the geek squad at Best Buy showed me how to understand the new security and other new items on this computer, had to return quite a few times before I got the hang of how to use it..But everything worked out fine and I'm pleased with the results...

This is a great, inexpensive way to have a laptop in the Apple Product ecosystem. I have been very impressed with battery life and performance. I mainly use for email, web browsing and photo editing. It is just the right size to carry around when traveling but not too small keyboard or screen.

This is my first MAC laptop. Elegant looks and feel make me comfortable with it. Battery life is better and overall performance is awesome.

This little computer is actually a very good value. It has all the modernness of a Mac air that we love and it’s light and it’s fully capable of handling all the 90% of use as we do with computer computers great deal really a great deal.

My wife absolutely loves it. Apart from the delay in the mail and only putting $100 insurance on the item. I must say that I’m quite pleased.

Bought this in hopes of using when camping. However, when I received the laptop, I realized that the operating system was old enough that none of the apps I wanted would install on it. So, I sent the laptop back. I am not blaming Best Buy for this. Apple makes sure that their devices operating system that are older are not able to run newer software apps, thus making us always buy a new device.

Great starter laptop for my nephew! Works like a charm! Just be mindful to not download any big software. It will struggle a bit. But for everyday tasks it’s works like a charm!!

Great packaging, great condition, and great service. Old laptop, but does great with daily tasks like simple web browsing. I even got GarageBand to work pretty well on it. Display isn't the best, but again, it's old. Full charge lasts a bit longer than a workday.

The mac condition is good and i like the mac laptop

Operating system is too old to run anything. Best Buy was so good about shipping and returning the item. Will absolutely continue to do business with them in the future, but remind purchasers to check all specs, especially original date of release.

This apple lab top is the speed is great , no dents or scratches, and it was just what my daughter needed for College.

I purchased this for my college student and he loves it. Everything he needs to be successful.

Works Great! Fast and efficient! Even in 2024 it’s totally worth it! Using it for grad school!

Overall as a refurbished unit, it works surprisingly well!
