Upgrade from 2013 MacBook Pro
Very pleased with this purchase so far. I got my first MacBook Pro 6/7 years ago, and it still works great for the most part, but I'm going to need to use my computer more for work and figured I'd upgrade to a newer model to be safe for more consistent everyday use. I was looking at the MacBook Pro's initially, but quickly realized the specs on the 2020 MacBook Air's were very similar but also slightly better than my old MacBook Pro, so since I didn't need a huge change in performance, I went with the cheaper alternative. The fan does run loudly when playing videos, but otherwise it performs great and is perfect for users who need it for school work/emails/watching shows or movies/playing music. I like the Touch ID feature, especially for passwords, it makes it feel a little more secure that I still have to use my fingerprint to use saved passwords. And the battery life is really good. I usually let it sleep instead of shutting down regularly, and the battery takes a long time to drain. The speakers are also pretty good for laptop speakers. I really like the Space Gray color, too. Sometimes I miss the bright white old school MacBooks, but the colors and finishes are really nice on the new ones so it balances out. And it's nice and light, definitely nice for portability since I plan on having to bring it back and forth with me a lot for work. Overall, Apple knows how to make a great product, and this computer is no different. If you're looking for an entry level computer to get you into the Apple world, I'd recommend this one.

What a great purchase!
I made the jump finally to a Mac and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. This Macbook Air is a great machine for an ultra portable laptop. Even thought it is an ultra portable laptop it doesn't feel cheap or slow or like it is holding back anything from a performance standpoint. The Mac OS is better than I expected and the fit and finish of this laptop is the best I have ever used. I have been using exclusively Dell and Lenovo brand laptops for many years and I now realize I have been missing out on this addition of the Apple ecosystem for too long.

love this MacBook
MacBook came in excellent condition. I upgraded from a HP laptop so, this is my first MacBook. With that being said, I can't compare it to previous versions/models but I can say, It is absolutely what I wanted! Lightweight, sleek , smooth and very convenient. I love how easy the set up process was and the Touch ID is easily one of my favorites.

Great laptop, Apple Quality as you expect
My wife is a 3rd grade teacher and we bought this for her upcoming school year. Very nice laptop and definitely the Quality you expect from Apple. The only thing I wish was better would be the webcam. The webcam is 720 not 1080HD- if you are doing lots of video chats you will be disappointed with the webcam it comes with. This is not a primary use feature for us so not a big deal but worth mentioning. The rose gold is a very nice color!

Goodbye Windows. Hello MacOS.
First and foremost. I have been an avid Windows user for about 15 years. I even had a Windows Phone when those were in existence. For the past 4 years I have made my way into the Apple ecosystem and I feel that this has been the best choice for me. Long story short, this MacBook purchase culminates my love for all things Apple. Granted it isn't as powerful as the Pro version but for what I do with editing photos, mixing music and video all while browsing the web, it is sufficient in its ability to preform!
