Coming from a 13" laptop, I needed the extra screen size to make working with spreadsheets more functional and the screen quality and brightness (viewable in daylight!) are great for full screen movies. What I love most is how incredibly light this laptop is – it's amazing that something this portable has such a big screen and a battery with all-day capacity. The M2 chip handles everything I need perfectly, from work stuff to creative projects. Even with only 8 GB RAM, I can run multiple applications at the same time and keep dozens of browser tabs open. This is the first Apple I've bought. I've been looking at the battery life on these for a while and have heard only good things about the M2 processor. I decided to add one to my Windows eco-system. Why, because I can't touch the battery life, performance and build quality with a made for Windows machine for this price. Using a VPN to my home network I'm able to access the much more powerful Windows systems and storage options I have at the house from anywhere I have a stable internet (my phone has unlimited data and a hotspot). Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Apple app store works great, in the second picture while waiting on dinner I was working on a Windows system at my house while 4+ hours away from home. I can't call it a portable dumb terminal since it can do a lot without connecting into a Windows computer. I find I do use it for web browsing and music playback. I've also used it for Zoom meetings recently as well while feeding the webcam through OBS for effects to the virtual cam used by Zoom. As for why I chose the 15" over the 13"... Well, I've always had 15" laptops and I'm use to the larger screen. Also, I was the 15" has a better sound than the 13" and I only use headphone while in public, rest of the time the speakers are used.

Okay so yes, I am a pc guy. But I absolutely love this thing. The hardware is from a dream. The super slim body, along with the oh-so-purty midnight color makes me happy. I can use this laptop for a couple hours and it only loses a few percent of the battery. The battery life is almost unreal. As expected, the screen is superb. The M2 is very fast and simply does not run hot (it's fanless). But MacOS is very limiting. If only I could put Windows on it...

Love it! Great size, it runs great, the display is so pretty, and the gunmetal gray blue color is lovely. This is my first MacBook and I’m really in love. I bought it for school and it’s absolutely perfect. Plus, I only have to charge it like once a week with almost daily use.

My MacBook Air 13” gave out on me so I decided to upgrade to the MacBook Air 15” and I can say that I love how bigger the screen is while still being light. It’s still easily portable and good to look at. I like the color but I do miss the rose gold I had before. Nothing a laptop case won’t fix. It does run a lot better. The display is great and editing my videos seem to be easier. And the battery life is much better.

Needed to purchase a new laptop for work. I would like to preface this with the fact I have been using a MacBook Pro from 2012 (yes... I know...) which no longer supports updates, trackpad stopped working, etc., so no matter what I knew anything was an upgrade for the laptop. I do have an iPhone 13 Pro and an iPad mini 6 for work so I am familiar with some of the more recent upgrades to iOS stuff. When reading the differences between the MacBook Air and the Pro, it seemed like I was going to go with the Pro. Until I got to Best Buy. I didn't want just USB-C, I also didn't know about the multi-port docks which was a big part of why I wasn't really considering the Air. NOTE! With the 15" Air, you have a MagSafe charger, and two USB-C ports on the left side. I ended up getting the SATECHI hub to go with computer. It only uses one of the USB-C ports and does not block the charging port. The first hub that I was shown plugged into both USB-C ports and blocked the MagSafe charger! The customer service gentleman was very happy to learn about this design flaw of multiple ports they carry that he had previously recommended, not realizing that you can't have all the things plugged in! Which could be a huge issue for people! Anyways, back to the MacBook Air. I LOVE it. The Touch ID makes things sooooo easy. I love how seamlessly Apple makes it to work on multiple devices and share files/data/bookmarks/keychain/apps/EVERYTHING. The operating system is incredibly easy to use and intuitive. This computer is FAST!!!!! And so far, I'm incredibly impressed with the battery life. It is so slim, it kind of worries me, but I ordered a hardshell case for it from Amazon since they didn't have any in stock at the store (newest model, not all the accessories yet). I don't have anything negative to say about this computer. I was grateful for the help and guidance of the rep I was working with in regards to what I was going to be using it for and realizing I did not NEED the Pro, that the Air would be more than sufficient, especially coming from a 2012 model. Ended up saving a few hundred bucks by going with the 15" MacBook Air and Satechi Hub vs the smaller Pro I had planned on. Also signed up for the Best Buy Total membership which gives you AppleCare for less than it costs through Apple, plus all the other Best Buy benefits.

I bought this laptop for college as it was highly recommended and had excellent reviews from the research I did. Initially I was going to purchase the 16gb RAM version however this was not available at Best Buy and was only available on the Apple Store. I didn’t want to wait for delivery from the Apple Store as school was starting soon and I needed it before then. School has since started and I have been using the MacBook everyday. The size is absolutely perfect and does not seem to be too large or too big. The storage is more than enough for me considering most things I save on the cloud. The RAM works fine and provides enough memory for my processor to run all of the applications I use daily. The battery life is phenomenal and works as advertised if not better. The sound quality is fantastic also. One thing to note is it does leave prominent fingerprints however they are not easily visible unless the MacBook is directly under light. I use a microfiber cloth with a little water and it wipes the prints/oil right off. Overall it’s a solid 9/10
