    Perfect for workouts!

    I purchased this watch to keep track of my workouts and am not disappointed. I have the cell service so I don’t need my phone at all. This has replaced my phone for most of the day. It is super easy to setup/use. It is a little expensive so I definitely splurged on myself but I have zero regrets!!!!

    Perfect!

    I bought this open box and it came in perfect condition. The set up and transfer from my series 3 to the series 5 was very easy. I’m in love with the aesthetic of this watch and since I skipped out on the series 4 I do want to note how beautiful the ring is without the big red dot on the side and the always on display. I’m so happy with the purchase I made. If you have a series 3 or older I’d consider upgrading but a series 4 wouldn’t be a big upgrade to the series 5.

    Upgraded for Christmas

    Upgraded for gift. Liked the overall additions to the Series 5. (GPS Cellular, additional Heart Rate, Compass, Elevation, and more). Added the screen protector to avoid cracks and/or scratches. However the item the salesperson suggested really does not seal 100%. A little disappointed in that. The battery life is not as great as reports indicated. Definitely needs to go on charger every night. Volume on watch for calls is not as loud as thought.

    Best smart watch ever!

    Not much to say, I had the series 4 and the series 5 is a minor improvement over it. The always-on screen was worth the upgrade for me though, it’s what the Apple Watch has been missing for me and it’s finally here! If you don’t care about the always-on display I would steer you towards the 4 because the battery life does suffer with it turned on.

    My fitness partner

    I just received an apple series 3 (gps only) as a gift last March. I am not a watch person (or a health buff) at least not anymore because of my chosen field of work. But trying the gift, and the fitness program at work, I find it useful. I started walking, cardio and core exercises and I liked the lifestyle it created for me. So I decided to give my series 3 to my sister and bought this with cellular this time. I no longer have to bring my phone anymore when walking or running or for any fitness activity. Less baggage the better.

  • Do you have to get a connection thru your carrier for this watch to work or will it just work with your Iphone? I would like for the person receiving it to make that decision.

    You can choose not to activate the cellular. Then it would work just through the Bluetooth connection to your iPhone. That would be the same functionality as the watch without cellular connectivity.

  • If I purchase the GPS+Cellular; Can it share the same phone number as my iPhone? Or, do I have to pay for separate phone service?

    Most providers charge extra per month on your current plan to use watch ATT charges $10 a month. The watch is assigned a diffeeent phone number but when paired with your phone it rings when your cell phone is called.

  • Is it possible to swap out the wristband with an Etsy bracelet type band and still have all the functions work?

    The bands themselves don’t have any functionality so as long as the back of the watch is touching the skin all features should still work

  • What is the difference in gps vs gps/cellular? I thought that the watch itself linked to your iPhone so the cell service was already on it. So why cellular?

    GPS means that you have to have your cell phone with you to use cellular services like texts etc. The watch relies on the cellular service from your phone. The watches that also have cellular themselves (in addition to GPS) have their own cellular service and number. You designate with your carrier which device it is paired with. So when you receive a text message to your phone number (of your phone) your carrier (Verizon, ATT) automatically pushes it to your watch. No need to have your phone with you. So you could go for a run and leave your phone at home.
