After conflicting back and forth between AVRs, an BB employee show me this hidden gem. The Arcam AVR 20 checked all my boxes; plenty of HDMI, 7 channels of A/B amplification @ 90w all channel driven, 15 channels of pre-amp outs, Dirac Live. My only complain I have is that their menu can be glitchy or difficult to navigate, if Harman/Arcam can keep updating and improving the software then this unit can be easily a 5 star AVR.

This AVR took my audio to the next level. Super crisp and dynamic. It uses DIRAc for calibration which in my experience gives better desired results compared to other room correction software. I purchased this as an open box. It had issues immediately upon installation. Best Buy shipped it out and got it resolved, although it took two trips to Kentucky Geek Squad to get it right! Currently having connectivity issues. It appears to have low power output on the HDMi as my HDR signal is getting dropped on a 50’ active optical hdmi cable. All in all throughly pleased with the sound quality and aesthetics

Wow…sound quality is way better than my onkyo or denon receivers. Dirac is great but far more complicated than your typical correction software. This is my first Arcam product due to its price point however its a quality piece of equipment that has elevated my home theater.

The features and quality of this unit is beyond my expectations. Both music and movies are for pro level. Good job Arcam and Bestbuy - best deal ever, even in open box, it is still in good condition and I'm highly satisfied. I'm able to use 15 speakers and 2 subwoofers in auro 3d and dolby atmos configurations. Sounds amazing even with mix old and new speakers after calibration. Experiencing this at home is seldom, so many thanks for making it possible!

So far this product has been terrific. I was able to install it and enjoy it within hours of getting home. It was an open box item and was a terrific deal. It’s clarity is great, dialogue is clear, still learning how to maximize surround sound. If it holds up,I expect to keep it in my family room home theater until it’s obsolete. More than enough power.

It took me some time to figure this thing out. I spent several hours at my local store to try to understand why this thing performed so much better than almost every other receiver they had(except McIntosh). We went back and forth with the same content and same speakers and this Arcam CLEARLY demonstrated that it is on another level! The AB amplification class was the stand out difference and it pushes the perfect amount of power while maintaining low distortion and squeeky clean overall performance. All the features and functions this offers are about the same as everything else available, but this Arcam receiver is the amazing brain child that powers my home theater set up and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Needs the HDMI 2.1 update but I run my PS5/Xbox X directly to the TV and eARC audio back to the receiver so its no big deal.

Building out a Home Theater 7.2.4. The ARCAM AVR 20 does not disappoint! Driving KEF R11 front and KEF R2 C. Will add the ARCAM PA410 for Atmos. REL for the subwoofers. Music and movies crisp and clean, no hiss. Hand amazing support from the BestBuy Magnolia Team…

Amazing sound quality for both movies and music. Dirac is an added advantage as well. The 5 year manufactures warranty speaks to their confidence in the build quality also. Clearly adiophile sound and build quality.

Next to McIntosh, best brand amp in its class. Drives the Martin Logan Electrostic speaker beautifully.

I don't really see the difference in this receiver versus Marantz. I think for the price it is very expensive and more so than the Marantz. The both have issues.

Had for just a short time. Stopped working a couple of days after setup. Had to return. Sounded excellent when it was working. I purchased an open box display unit. So sad it didn't work out. Seemed like quality materials and construction, but I noticed a lot of people in forums having issues with the Arcam units. I now have a Denon x4800h an excellent feature rich midrange receiver.
