The Arlo Chime 2 works very well with my Arlo Wired Doorbell Camera. Easy to set up and loud enough to hear throughout our large home. While the Chime 2 works well, I am still miffed that the Arlo Wired Doorbell Camera would not work with my existing chime even though it was advertised to do so. After nearly a year of messing with it and working with Arlo Support to try to get it to work, I broke down and purchased Chime 2...at nearly the cost of the Arlo Wired Doorbell Camera itself. I have and, have had, Arlo products since the first generation cameras and I have to say the first I have been extremely disappointed with is the Arlo Wired Doorbell Camera. Arlo, do better!

The sound does not expand inside the house as it should, it rings loudly but does not reach nearby spaces with the same intensity, I use it with the Arlo Dorbell and there is a delay of several seconds from the moment you press the dorbell button until the moment the chime rings and that is very unplesant

Good product and good quality and I have no doubt that is a perfect match for my home life.

Could have a little louder chime but otherwise plugged right in and took just a few minutes to have it up and running.

Arlo is the worst product stack I've ever used in any product category, from any company, ever. Ever, in my life. When setting up this doorbell, the app won't properly connect on Android because it fails to properly connect to the temporary Wi-Fi network created. Arlo support is completely and utterly useless, absolute garbage-tier support who has no clue whatsoever about what's going on. You have to figure out workarounds yourself as usual.

I purchased this to go along with my Doorbell because I am unable to hear someone ringing the doorbell if I am in the bedroom. The set up process was not the easiest. The QR code on the unit is so small that the camera on my iPhone 14 Pro Max was not able to read it. I had to take a picture of it using another iPhone and then zoom in on the picture in order for my 14 Pro to be able to read. Also make sure that if you are on a 5Ghz WiFi, you switch over to the 2.4Ghz frequency before trying to set this up. After I got it all set up, it worked great. Although I did notice there is a .5 or 1 second delay when pressing the doorbell. I also think that $50 is way overpriced for this item, but there's no other option out there at the moment.

I didn't realize when I bought this that I'd need a separate Chime to actually hear the doorbell. I didn't want to rely solely on my phne to see who was at the door. I already have a camera at the front door so this was duplicating my efforts. I ended up removing it and getting something different.

Loud & easy to set up! We love this doorbell! You can hear it from anywhere in our 1900 sq foot house! We put it in a centralized part of our house (kitchen area) and when someone rings the doorbell it can be heard anywhere. We love it!

Easy set up. Paired flawlessly. Appropriately loud and projects the chime well. No complaints about a month or two in.

Very loud and clear sound. Very easy to set and small and convenient

It's a doorbell chime. You set it up, associate it with a doorbell, and it makes noise when someone rings the doorbell. It comes with a variety of chime sounds, and it's unobtrusive otherwise. I just wish it could be connected to an Arlo SmartHub, instead of having to go through the regular wifi.

Easily sets up, has some nice bells, and can go pretty much anywhere in your home. The one downside is that the chime lasts about 2-3 seconds and doesnt repeat. I have an 80 year old at home who is hard of hearing so I hoped they would have a work around. Not at this time

Recently installed a new Arlo doorbell and found our existing wired chime inadequate to be heard throughout our house. Purchased two chimes and setup was easy. Only issue I encountered was that the chimes didn't like being put on a guest wifi network, but the non-guest network worked like a charm. You're able to customize the chime sound and volume so it's easily customizable. Loud enough to be heard . Highly recommend

This is a necessary addition to any Arlo Doorbell system. It was easy to install if you're familiar with the Arlo app. There are several ringtones to choose from and you can customize your own. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the volume adjustment either seemed to be really loud or really soft, not middle ground.

I really wanted to like the Arlo chime 2 but it’s just not reliable. Maybe it’s my network setup, but it constantly fails to ring. I’m only alerted to someone at the door by the mobile app. On the plus side, easy to set up, great choice of sounds, loud as you need, and small profile.

I love this addition to my Arloi doorbell camera. The chime was very easy to link with the doorbell camera and it just plugs into an outlet. It can be set at different volume levels and I am able to hear the doorbell from the furthest point in my house.

Hard wiring is very straightforward. Where this product slips up a bit is getting it connected to your existing Arlo network via internet/wifi. There are numerous complaints and methods to connect it on the ARLO forum it took me many attempts to get it to work but you must persevere and keep trying it can get a bit frustrating. Overall it took me a couple of attempts spanning maybe 3hrs total until hooked correctly. Once operating it works flawlessly. If it wasn’t such a pain to get up and running it would be an easy 5 stars.

Used in addition to the Arlo door Camera, this compact unit packs an auditory punch once it's installed. Problem is that the installation instructions are almost non-existent in the package. Access instructions located online to make this install go smoothly. Nothing in the package allows installation. But once located instructions were detailed and successful. As noted earlier, easy to hear throughout the house.

This doorbell chime was able to alert my parents of someone at the front door. It is convenient to install anywhere there is an outlet.
