It's a simple feature popular with my family so they know what triggered without a phone/app alert Only issue I have is no ability to load custom rings/melodies. You're limited to the 11 they provide.
Q: Do I need to purchase the chime2 with the Arlo wireless doorbell?
A: Not necessarily if u have an existing doorbell chime as it comes with a chime attachment. My existing chime was broke so I purchased the chime 2 and is very convenient but could’ve saved some money if it was working. Hopefully this helps;)
