The series tells the story of billionaire Oliver Queen who was shipwrecked and trapped on an island for five years before being rescued by fishermen. He returned to his hometown of Starling City and uncovered a terrorist plan in which his father was involved on Purgatory Island. In order to make up for the mistakes made by his family, he used the identity of "Green Arrow" to fight against the mercenaries, mafia and terrorists on the island and uphold justice.
