Q: What is the difference between the ASUS Q524UQ-BI7T20 and the ASUD Q524UQ-BI7T15?
A: I just got off the Best Buy "chat line" with customer support rep Allenessa. She said that the only difference between the two models is the color. Black Matte is more expensive. Otherwise, they are exactly the same.
Q: Does the Bamboo smart stylus work with this laptop?
A: wonderfully!
A: This computer gives me serious isssues in just loading. I wouldn't encourage you to buy it.
Q: Can you add a m.2 and boot from the m.2 ssd?
A: Yes, I installed an 960 EVO 250 GB SSD in the PCI-e bay and cloned the drive with the software "FarStone" included with this laptop. Just make sure you change the boot option in the BIOS.
A: Actually, the responder to this was wrong. I was able to buy a Crucial SSD CT525MX300SSD4 internal drive that installs in a slot on this computer. Once I installed the SSD drive (removed the back cover, slipped it into the slot and used a screw to hold it in place) I was able to clone the original drive to this one and now the computer boots quickly and performance is as expected, with the original 2TB drive as storage but with the operation system and cache on the SSD drive.
A: Face recognition log in is one of the uses... as is for skype and other software I'm sure.
Q: What is included in the packaging?
A: Included in the packaging is a sonic master speaker, charging cable, a cloth to clean the screen of finger prints, computer. I think that's about it. :)
