A: Best Buy listing is incorrect. I bought this from Best Buy last week and mine has 5 total LAN ports - 1 is a 2.5GB port. So is the WAN port. Pleasant surprise. So this is more future-proofed as people get gig+ internet speeds. But you need a modem with a 2.5GB ethernet port as well to make use of this speed.
A: No. My unit has just burnt out after just 2 years. 5 HZ band is broken. All of my devices connected to 5GHZ band facing frequent freezing. I am not buying Asus products anymore.
