Q: Does it come with the necessary power supply cables?
A: A 12-pin adapter is included in the box according to techpowerup.com
Q: How is this model different from the other Asus $599? Comparison tool here didn't help.
A: If you look under Features it's a whole 45mhz faster than the other by default. Not sure why they're charging more for this "version" as Amazon isn't.
