The ASUS PRIME RTX 5080 is an absolute beast in a surprisingly compact form. Installation was straightforward thanks to its SFF-friendly 2.5-slot design, and it fit perfectly in my Micro-ATX case without airflow issues. The fans are impressively quiet, even when the card is under heavy load, and temperatures stay well under control. I was very impressed with the performance to thermal deltas. Performance is phenomenal, handling demanding games at high resolutions with ease. The dual BIOS and 0dB fan mode are nice touches for customizing noise and performance balance. Honestly, I don't even need to use the silent mode, as it's quiet enough for me already. While there’s a fair bit of plastic in the build, it still feels solid and well-engineered. Overall, this card offers top-tier power, quiet operation, and excellent efficiency in a small GPU.

before on my 650 ti and 3050 ti LAPTOP, my gpu was like "7, 7 fps is all i can spare to play with you..." and NOW! my gpu is quiet, the temps are goot, and my gpu is now like "700, 700 fps is all i can spare to play with you" goot purchase, on goot

Fantastic card at msrp. Upgraded from 3080 ftw3. This card runs cooler and is smaller. Performance gain is great. Love it

Upgraded from an RTX 3080 FE to the 5080, and the difference is massive. Frame rates are significantly higher, ray tracing performance is way better, and DLSS 4.0 makes everything smoother without sacrificing quality. Temps are solid, and power efficiency seems improved too. If you’re coming from a 30-series card, this is a serious upgrade—definitely worth it!

Was able to purchase the day before Christmas at MSRP $999. Although it’s not my preferred look for a build, I was not going to pay over MSRP for a card that barely improves over 4080 Super. My old Build included an EVGA 3080 and 8700K but started to show its age in modern titles such as BF6 if I wanted all the setting maxed without DLSS. Is it overpriced, yes, but it’s also the best consumer grade card unless you want to spend $2,000 or more. New build paired with 9800X3D Runs BF6 Overkill settings, no DLSS or FG at 3440 x 1440 at 130 fps. Opted not to wait for super due to rumors of cancellation. If you can afford it then why not, but if you can’t, opt for 5070ti or 9700xt @ MSRP only.

This card is amazing and especially for the size. I have it in a sff build, but it remains dead silent. Temps never rise above 62 c. My only complaint is it is expensive. This should be priced around 999-1150 max.

Went from a 3080 to a 5080. Easily twice the speed. Amazing card! Paired with a 7800X3D

I will say right off the bat, graphics cards...like most computer parts now are very overpriced. So we just have to choose what we can with our budgets. I got this when there was not many choices, everything kept going out of stock. I DID NOT, want an Asus card because of prior issues I had with their service. Yet this card is what ended up going through. With that, I will say the card has been very solid. I hear very little coil whine with the side panel off, and virtually none while on. The fans are quiet, and it keeps the card nice and cool. Coming from an EVGA Rtx 3080 Ti prior, this was a nice change. I really don't bother overclocking cards too much anymore, so I can't say much there. However, it is a great card for 1440p and 4k gaming. It handles many titles very well even at max settings. Sure games like Cyberpunk will still make it struggle but that isn't changing anytime soon. You want 70+ fps at 4k at max settings on older game? No issue. Newer ones, you need the 5090. I have also used it for video and photo editing. Can't complain here either. Fast, quiet and stays even cooler. For basic tasks, the fans won't kick on. Even in my compact Jonsplus i100 Pro. In the end it is a quiet well performing card. I still don't trust Asus, or really like them too much. However, I will say this card has been serving me well and hope it will continue to do so. I would recommend.

I upgraded from a 4080 super and i can actually tell a difference. It keeps cool and its small enough for an itx build!

Suprised how powerful of a card this is. Has huge potential for overclocking much more flexible than my 5090 in overclocking . Also runs a vapor cooler which keeps temps in check. Is a bit smaller so it can definitely fit in a smaller pc cases. Performance is great not much different from my 5090. Absolutely recommended it especially if you can find it at a discount

This 5080 GPU from ASUS is working great! Meets all the published performance specs. And it tends to run cooler than other RTX models. Also, the form factor is 2-slot which better in my cases. Definitely would go with ASUS Prime 5080 again.

I was fortunate to be able to get this card at list price just before RAM prices started going crazy and driving up GPU prices. I had a 3080, which is a very solid card, but I've noticed a nice frame increase in some games and the extra VRAM can make a difference in some games. I was surprised that the 5080 was not much bigger than the 3080 and fit well in my case.

Did a whole gaming PC rebuild and decided to go with a 5080 this time around. I must say, I am impressed with everything. Runs like a champ, beautiful on my OLED 4k monitor. Will definitely go with ASUS again for my next build in 5+ years.

This is a great graphics card and a solid upgrade from our older 70-series card. It runs cool and quiet, and the gaming performance is excellent.

The GPU has excellent cooling, overclocking potential, SFF compatibility, and looks great. The 5080 is still too expensive, but there isn't much more you could ask from thge product itself.

As one of the ONLY retail priced RTX 5080 cards on the market andbeing from a reputable brand like Asus I can't recommend this card more. This is a no frills reference spec card that works as intended. It's very easily modded to add noctua or arctic fans with a little 3D printing or searching on something like etsy. SFF compatibilty is also there as it's a 2.5 slot card max (closer to 2.0 slots) Love the card, gaming at 4K with RT and MFG is quite nice !

The graphics card arrived extremely fast. It works perfectly and is very powerful for general use and high-end professional AI workloads. It’s not a 5090, but it performs better than I expected. Extremely powerful for gaming as well.
