Solid motherboard, currently swapped this in a prebuilt Asus system that I bought from Best Buy. Added a 5950x and 64GB of ram and I have truly a beastly machine that will last me a very very long time. The bios is easy enough to work with, and having owned so many Asus products over the years, whether it be laptops, motherboards, or graphics cards....the quality has always been top notch. I went with the B550 motherboard because the chipset on this does not require a fan like an x570 motherboard. That means no annoying loud small noisy fan. The heat sinks on this motherboard are impressive, something you'd see on a more premium level board. Haven't really had any hiccups on this board at all. The only negatives is that with the Dark Rock TF2 cooler I can only use two ram slots. the case that I use has limited height which is why I went with a cooler that was massive but a bit more low profile. Which is fine for now as I use 2 x 32GB. Do if you want to use all ram slots definitely do your research and find the solution that works best for your needs. Another issue is the lack of built in wifi and bluetooth. Of course you can easily find an external solution, or use one of the pcie slots and get an internal one. Since I have a RTX 3080 on this board, I doubt I will install any kind of pcie device under the gpu as it would inhibit airflow. I've had zero issues with this and I bought this motherboard for about 5 months. I'd highly recommend it over an x570 motherboard, if you do not need built in bluetooth and wifi.
This board was the easiest build i've ever completed. Booted up perfect on 1st start. All hard drives showed up, all ram, everything, on my 1st start. That's incredible. Only adjustments I made were for the led lighting. lol Didn't think it'd be this easy. Also, this board stays cool, air coming out of case is not even warm, after being on all day working in 3d. Excellent.

After owning two MSI b550 gaming plus boards and derailed both times to one chipset lanes didnt work and two the other ones bios reset got corrupted. This board is a ace of spades. Love it, booted up first time and very solid features. S-grade for a fraction

I don't understand when people write reviews stating an issue and typically the issue is not enough research. This is an ATX motherboard, so it will only "fit" in a case designed for an ATX motherboard. if you get a mid-sized ATX case, it will be tight! the layout of the front header ports are typical of other motherboards including the Front USB 3.0 header. This is the F (no wifi version of the B550 line, so no, there is no WiFi. There is also a Wireless version also designated B550 F Gaming Wireless. Overall a great motherboard. A bit pricier compared to its competitors in the same class of motherboards. Easy to configure, overclock, got both 5v and 12v LED ports. It has the latest Gen4 PCIe, heatsinks for the NVMe drives. It also has the USB 3.2 Gen2 port in Type C and Type A.

Bought this to upgrade to the ryzen 5 5600x. Works perfectly and looks good doing it. Plenty of connections for everything you could need. Rgb software works great. My m.2 960 evo and 1 tb ssd run beautifully. Will be upgrading to a pcie 4.0 m.2 in the future.

Sadly I didn’t do my research, this motherboard does not come with WiFi, but even then it’s great value and a wifi card fixes it easy

I've been eye balling this motherboard for weeks on line. This is an outstanding MB. With all the latest add-on's. improved heat sinks all over. At a steal of a price. I didn't trust this to be delivered with out problems and then going through the on-line mess. I trust that when all the part get here and I can finally start putting my system together it will work. But, if it doesn't I have Best Buy right here to work with.

Great board. Works flawlessly. Bought because I needed to upgrade to a B550 for my 3800X. Was not disapointed

Motherboard works as expected and seems to have decent VRM cooling to go along with it. Overall, happy with the product. I have my own opinions on the AURA light sync software, but other than that, solid motherboard.

First time building a PC and this mobo worked right out of the box. I read some reviews and people complained about lan driver issue this was not the case for me. I paired with a Ryzen 7 3700x and a 2070 super. Two reason for 4 star, minor issues. 1. It’s not friendly with Corsair 465x RGB case, tight spaces to plug in 8+4 CPU pin. 2. Weird location for the front panel USB connector. Overall the B550 mobo is a solid motherboard with room for overclocking and fairly priced.

I'd say it's higher than entry level tree level because it does support over clocking we're overtalking and I had to watch a lot of videos and look up a lot of things to figure out the bias. It is a good one to get into overclocking. And my experience was with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X. The only thing I wish it had different was an extra 3 pin RGB header
