Q: Can I use this monitor vertically?
A: No you cannot.
A: A 4ms response time is slower than a monitor with a 2ms response time. However, unless you are playing via a LAN connection, you are unlikely to see a ping to the game server under 4ms. Refresh rates are also a factor, and this model is rated for 144hz. Both features are important in fast paced games.
Q: What cables do I need to connect this monitor to my pc?
A: I beleive displayport is needed for the high refresh rate. Otherwise you might be locked at 60 hz.
