With 7 m.2 slots this motherboard might be slight overkill.. but I’m not complaining. The led accent provides a good aesthetic, and the overall look is sick. So far the motherboard has been reliable and the bios is easy to navigate and update. Initially I had an issue with my keyboard driver not functioning properly and spent some time troubleshooting before it was resolved. Other than the keyboard issue, I have no complaints and I would recommend this motherboard to anyone, especially gamers.

Board came from BestBuy super fast via UPs, unfortunately as motherboard was being inspected before mounting, we noticed that 2 teeth in the CPU housing were bent. Motherboard was packaged back up and returned. Too much money to take a chance and see if it worked. Bummer

I currently have the Strix Z890-E paired with an Intel Core 285K and Corsair 8000 CUDIMM RAM, both of which are overclocked and running stable. It has handled everything seamlessly, delivering excellent performance without compromise. For anyone weighing the Hero against this option, the Strix Z890-E proves that you can get ample features and reliability without breaking the bank.
