One of the most densely powered machines out there. Almost the same performance as my ROG Strix Scar 16 (15-20% slower) yet weighs half as much and costs just slightly over half as much. Battery life is amazing on low powered mode, the speakers are MacBook grade. 4080/4090 version is the way to go because of vapor chamber cooling.

So far very good. Very fast and cooler than the 4070 model. Loving it so far!

Pros: The screen is nice and the body has macbook pro like solid build. The specs are great. The OLED screen is pretty good compare to Retina macbook screen. Came with Windows 11. The color is not as white as you would like. Its more grey white. Cons: Speakers are not as good as Macbook pro M1 that I compared it to side by side. The bass is not as good and sounds like the sound is coming from inside a box. The bottom of the laptop has weird curve around the label as if there is battery bulge, but apparently not.

Great laptop for work with the ability to game. Played the new Dragon Age at full settings and had no issues. Also, plays Destiny 2 max settings never dropping below 100 fps from what I have noticed. This is my 3rd Asus laptop and I will continue to purchase from them.

Picked up an open box from Best Buy at a very respectable price to replace a Ryzen 7600/3070 desktop computer. Without any changes the laptop scored around 3,000 points higher in benchmarks. It's handled everything I've thrown at it the last 3 months without a single hiccup (once I removed Armoury Crate - G Helper is so much better!). It does run a little warm, so a laptop stand or cooler is helpful and once you start playing on an OLED panel everything else will be forever ruined.

So, I came from a M1 Pro MacBook Pro, and this is by far the closest thing to a MacBook but you can actually game and run windows software natively. I've gotten all day battery life doing homework and lite web browsing, which is impressive 10+ hours and still have %20 left. The gaming performance is very good for when I get ahead of my school work. This is nothing like the gaming/work laptops from back in 2016. Intel is catching up in efficency.

Great computer for my son for Christmas last year!

Amazing I love this device. Only downside is the massive performance drop when on battery but it’s what you get from a gaming laptop and I knew that going in.

No ethernet ports on this laptop and the wifi card was terrible. 2hr and 30 mins to download RDR2. Asus if you’re going to charge alot of money for a laptop with no Ethernet port make sure the wifi card is top tier.

I have purchased several of these laptops for content creators and developers. I personally use mine not primarily as a gaming laptop, but for podcast audio and video production on the go. But I do fire up steam a few times a week and enjoy a few hours of quality gaming. This laptop has great battery life when operating with just the Ultra 9 embedded GPU and the RTX4080 does a fantastic job providing amazing video experiences when I want to plug in and game. I don't recommend running intense 3D apps and games while on battery alone except for sessions less than 2 hours. The screen looks amazing, the white chassis, keyboard, and body of the laptop look great and I love the minimalistic design. I think my only design complaint would be that I'd prefer a little more contrast between the white keys and the text print on the keyboard. It can sometimes be a little difficult to see them. But I don't spend much time looking at the keyboard while typing. While at home, I use this laptop with two external 30" 4K displays and they run flawlessly using the single USB-C dock that I have connected. While on the go, I use the built-in display along with a portable 2K display that I connect I did purchase two M.2 SSD (2TB) drives to upgrade my storage capabilities to handle the large media files that I work with. The upgrade was easy to do and I also enjoy the benefit of a fresh install of Windows. I don't use Armory Crate, although I have used the new version on my Asus Rog Aly and it seems to work okay. The apps I primarily use are Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Animate), and Ableton Live with a whole slew of VST's. Some of my team members use it with the Cintiq display and they love it too. Overall, this is a great work/play/create laptop. I don't think you will be disappointed.
