ASUS - RT-BE58 Go BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Travel Router - White

Had been thinking about getting one of these for a while so when it went on sale I grabbed one. Now that I have figured it out it works great but setup was a little wonky. also important to note you need to have enough power flowing to it to set it working, I originally used the non PD cable I have sitting next to my couch and it didn't fully boot up. Eventually figured out you needed a higher wattage to get it going. After that back and forth it was pretty straightforward and I was able to get devices connected easily. The setup paperwork was a little vague at times but if you are tech savvy it should be no issue to get it going. Size and convenience are great and looking forward to trying it out in a variety of settings, mostly hotels when I travel for work.

I drive people to appointments and have to wait an hour or more. I use this to stream my PC to my tablet that I use as a mobile monitor, so I can play my games while I wait. it also works as an excellent mobile VR station but only for one headset. I bought a second one to set up for family road trips where we'll have four PCS running in the back connected wirelessly to tablets as monitors. truly an excellent device especially if you grab it on sell and travel a lot.

This little travel router has a lot of customization options and works flawlessly, easy to connect to hotel WiFi, and also it's very compact. It would've been nice, however, if they included a case for it since it technically is a travel router, but I was able to find one on Amazon that fits it perfectly. (The case is a RLSOCO brand; it holds my Roku stick and remote with all the cables.) The only annoyance is whenever you're making changes to the router settings, the router seems to reboot after every setting change, so the initial setup takes a little while because you have to wait for the reboot process to end and for the router to come back online again so you can reconnect and go to the next setting that you want to change. Other than that, it's a great little travel router.

The fact that I can create WiFi 7 to power anything, no matter where I am is a game changer lol you can use your cell phone data to get the most powerful wifi to power your laptop/game console/ or whatever even while camping. Great for ppl who are always on the road

device is compact and sturdy- not flimsy and has slip pads that keep it from moving aroud. i dropped it 6 ft immediately after opening it and it held up perfectly.
