About this product

AT&T TL86009 Cordless Handset: Easily answer phone calls in another room by adding this cordless handset to your existing AT&T expandable phone system. Must be used with phone system model TL86109 (not included).

Features

  • No landline required with automatic Bluetooth connectivity

Sync your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone to your existing AT&T expandable phone system, so you don't have to carry your cell phone, or drain its battery, while at home.

  • Manage cellular and landline calls and voicemail* on one system

Distinctive ringer tones for home and cellular lines let you know which number the caller dialed. The voicemail indicator lets you know you have messages.

  • High-contrast backlit LCD display and lighted keypad

Features an easy-to-follow menu on the display for changing settings, playing messages, accessing contact information and more.

  • Communicate across home or office with the built-in intercom

Handset-to-handset intercom makes it easy to get in touch with people in your home or office.

  • Find out who's calling with Caller ID* and Call Waiting*

Read the name, number, time and date of the caller before you answer. Store a caller-ID history of up to 200 calls.

  • Let more people participate in the call

The speakerphone lets you speak and listen without holding the handset, leaving your hands free to do other things and allowing more people in on the conversation.

  • Dial and receive calls on two different phone lines

2-line operation lets you put your current call on hold and answer a second cell or landline call when you receive a call waiting alert.

  • *Requires a subscription from your telephone service provider.

Good sound quality, light weight, easy setup

Already have this phone. I needed additional handsets for other bedrooms and rec room. Lightweight, easy to use. Good sound quality, easy set-up. Can be paired with cellphone and bluetooth. Has speaker phone and conference call capabilities as well as three way calling and caller ID.

    Good functionality

On the face of it, this handset is very good as far as audio quality, battery duration during a call and ease of use are concerned. This was, however, purchased as a replacement for the original, which failed (not battery) after a couple of years of very little use. So fingers crossed.

Very capable phone set for 2 line family

The AT&T - DECT 6.0 Cordless Expansion Handset for AT&T TL86109 Expandable Phone Systems is sleek, contemporary, and has great capability, as does the phone system itself. The handset and base work well together, and what is accomplished at the handset (message answers, call log, directory) is also accomplished at the base. I have a base and four handsets, all remain in sync. The bluetooth feature allows the handset(s) to function just as your mobile phone functions, as long as the cell phone itself is within 40 feet of the base of the phone system. A great phone, at a reasonable price.

    Great phone system

I purchased this phone as a replacement unit because my previous one was not working well and the voice quality was poor. I don't know if it's because I just purchased a bad unit or because I dropped it several times and it caused quality to decline. But persons on the other end of the line could not hear me well at all. So far this new unit has worked very well and the voice quality is good. I love the entire system. The base phone works very well and I love this phone system because it has two phone lines on it with a number of nice features. I like that this phone has the carrying accessory hook you can hang on your clothes to walk around the house without having to carry it. It has a number of other great features I haven't even tried yet. But so far, I'm pleased with it.
