Ryza 2 is pretty much what you'd expect from an atelier game, a fairly basic rpg story with a deep crafting system to get lost in. Simple as it is, the game's loop of going out into a dungeon, grabbing everything that isn't nailed down, then mcguyvering it into monster obliterating superweapons is always a good time. Like most recent atelier games there is no time limit either, keeping it a very relaxed experience, combat is atb rather than turn based, much like ryza 1, and is quite fun once you understand how it works. Do be aware that, like the last couple entries this game is Japanese audio only, with english text. The game is relatively short for a jrpg, so it's not a huge time investment, 100 percenting the game took me around 65 hours, but a ton of that time was spent playing around with crafting, a more casual playthrough would probably run around 20 hours, far less if you only do mandatory content. All in all a great little game, if you like mmo style crafting, or like jrpgs, and don't mind (or prefer) Japanese audio, you should enjoy it a great deal.

Another Great Addition to the Ryza story. If you like the Atelier series this is an easy pick up. Lots of RPG, lots of potion crafting. Lots of story and characters to explore.

Very good sequel. The story is interesting but the exploration is the best part. They really expanded on that. I feel they made the alchemy much easier with better explanations compared to the first game. Definitely recommend!

Ryza 1 was a great game, and 2 works to improve upon it in every way. The visuals, gameplay and even story are a step up. I would recommend this to any fan of the first.

This game is a great sequel with awesome graphics and story, I will recommend this game to anyone that wants to play a true JRPG! Just be warned it is in Japanese with English subtitles! And play the first game before this game or else you will not understand this game!

Excellent sequel to the first. Adds upon the first game in many ways, like gameplay, graphics, etc. New and more streamlined battle and crafting systems makes for a fresh experience that differentiates it from the first game.

Amazing Sequel to an amazing game! Artwork is amazing, visually a big step up from the original. Visuals are improved obviously over the switch version, plus there is a free PS5 upgrade if you own the system!

I just got the game and haven't been able to put down the controller, good story, good gameplay, good artstyle, good voice acting and amazing graphics, plus that best buy bonus is pretty sweet.

If you are looking for a classic active turn based RPG with rich character then pick this game up. You don't need to play the sequel to play this game since its a whole new adventure but it does do a few call backs to characters and places. But if you have an itch for an RPG check this game out,

Ryza is back and she's ready for another adventure. If you're coming from the 1st game then you'll enjoy this sequel with no problems. It has everything you loved about the 1st game and more. Apparently there's DLC that will be released later on, so starting the game on Day 1 socks a bit since you probably want to wrap up everything in 1 playthrough. Overall, great game.

This is my first time playing this series. I heard the first game to Atelier Ryza is very hard to find, so I did not want to miss the opportunity to get this game, so I decided to pick it up. So far, the game has been fun, with the game being Japanese with English subtitles. Regarding shipping, the game came the next day and in great condition.

This is probably the best game in the Atelier series. Ryza 1 has really given the franchise a fresh take and Ryza 2 improves on everything from its predecessor. If you enjoyed the first one or if you're looking for a soild JRPG, Ryza 2 is the one to play.

Still one of my favorite turn-based RPG series. I bought it for the Switch and PS4. Great anime visuals and turn-based battles that keeps the series fans coming back. You won't be disappointed.
