Atmosphere - To All My Friends, Blood Makes - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Sackville - Principles Of Science (ep) [VINYL LP] Extended Play date 05/11/1999

The family sign involves and engages the listener like never before on atmosphere's most personal and intimate album yet. It's an extensive journey through familial relationships both biological and those built on friendship and loyalty. Slug's signature voice weaves in and out of ant's asr-born production, Nate Collis' bluesy guitar riffs and the sound of Erick Anderson's unmistakable keys giving the family sign a fresh, unique edge without sacrificing atmosphere's signature sound.

2014 album from the hip hop duo. While Southsiders is a celebration of the group's fortitude, it is also a deeply introspective, and sometimes conflicted, work. 'It's a natural progression from the last record, THE FAMILY SIGN, which was about growing my family,' says Slug, now a father to three, who finds himself contemplating mortality. 'I'm starting to think, 'What is post family man? What am I supposed to rap about now?' I'm sticking to my roots, rapping about what I'm doing, what I think about. This record is, much like the other ones, a very detailed look at my life.'
