Atreyu - Long Live - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2018 . Following a short hiatus, Atreyu returned firing on all cylinders with Long Live during 2015. It crashed the Top 30 of the Billboard Top 200 and earned widespread acclaim. The band sold out countless headline shows in addition to sharing the stage with everyone from Slipknot to Linkin Park. After a two-year tour cycle for Long Live, Atreyu regrouped in Southern California for what would become offering number seven, reuniting with producer John Feldmann who famously helmed Lead Sails Paper Anchor. Atreyu has been described as metalcore and post-hardcore.

American metalcore stalwarts Atreyu make a passionate return to the hearts of fans everywhere with The Pronoia Sessions - a new collection that deconstructs, recreates, and reshapes eight of their greatest hits and two nostalgic tribute covers. The genesis stretches back to a series of acoustic performances at special events on the road. InchWe had the idea to do a show similar to Nirvana's MTV Unplugged as a one-off thing,Inch explains frontman Brandon Saller. InchThen we thought, 'Why not spend some time on it in the studio?' And it built from there. 'How far can we push this?' It spawned from there and unexpectedly turned into this monster.Inch What began as an acoustic album evolved into a grand re-imagining of Atreyu classics.

Tchaikovsky wrote the Children's Album and the Op.37 Sonata at the same time, and they're so different. It amazes me that these are so little known in UK. The Children's Album is fantastic - a masterpiece. He wrote three volumes of piano music, and what of it is known here?... The trouble is, Tchaikovsky is almost always played badly! There are two wrong ways the Russian wrong way and the Western wrong way. Most Russians make a rough sound, full of violent emotions, heart on the sleeve. Westerners often have a refinement that the Russians lack, and which is an important part of Tchaikovsky too, but it has no power. (Mikhail Pletnev).
