About this product

The AT-OC9XSH Dual Moving Coil cartridge with special line contact stylus is designed to provide outstanding channel separation. The Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting (PCOCC) coils ensure pure audio transmission and are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation to exert less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion. Audio quality is further enhanced by a rigid aluminum body that reduces resonance, a neodymium magnet and premium permendur yoke that dramatically increase the magnetic energy, and the nude special line contact stylus on a boron cantilever that tracks the record groove with ultimate accuracy, delivering rich, full-range audio and high transient response. The cartridge body has been pre-threaded, enabling it to be mounted to a headshell or integral tonearm with just two screws – no nuts required. Dual Moving Coil design, featuring independent coils for both left and right channels, provides outstanding channel separation. The coils are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation, which exerts less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion. The cartridge body is pre-threaded, enabling it to be mounted onto the headshell or integral tonearm with just two screws – no nuts required. Features nude Special Line Contact stylus and boron cantilever with accurate tracking ability and high transient response. A neodymium magnet and permendur yoke provide dramatically increased magnetic energy. Aluminum body minimizes unwanted vibration for reduced resonance and superior audio reproduction. Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting process (PCOCC) is used for the coils to achieve pure signal transfer.

    Not bad

For the price, this might be hard to beat. It's a breeze to mount and set up. The sound is kind of warmer than I would like, however. If you have a bright sounding system, this would be wonderful.

Audio-Technica - Audio Technica AT33SA Dual Moving Coil Cartridge - Silver
3.0(2)

The AT33Sa is the first Audio-Technica moving coil cartridge to feature a Shibata line-contact stylus, known for its superior high-range performance and strong mid and bass sound. The stylus is mounted on a tapered boron cantilever with a double damper for reduced weight and better audio quality. The cartridge’s dual moving coils provide excellent channel separation and are affixed within a strong but lightweight VC mold to greatly reduce unwanted vibration. The cartridge uses a neodymium magnet and a permendur yoke for dramatically enhanced magnetic energy. The PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) coils ensure pure audio transmission. Moving coil cartridge with Shibata stylus delivers exquisite, full-range audio reproduction. Advanced tapered boron cantilever and reduced coil weight improve the audio quality, particularly in the higher frequencies. Neodymium magnet and permendur yoke dramatically enhance the magnetic energy. PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) coil enables pure signal transfer. High-separation, wide response dual moving coil. VC mold limits unnecessary vibration. Precision-cast hard aluminum alloy body enhances rigidity and the signal-to-noise ratio.

AudioQuest - Silver Anti-Static Record Brush Removes Static, Dust, Debris from Vinyl Records - Black
4.5(19)

Keep vinyl LPs free from annoying static, microscopic dust, and harmful debris with AudioQuest’s Silver Anti-Static Record Brush. Simple, attractive, and remarkably effective, AudioQuest’s Silver Anti-Static Record Brush features 1,086,000 conductive carbon fibers and an uncoated metal finger grip to create a reliable electrical path between fibers and handle. Unlike most brushes that have a protective coating over their handles, AudioQuest’s Silver Anti-Static Record Brush employs an uncoated metal finger grip that has been carefully positioned for ease of use and efficacy, ensuring a proper electrical connection to the user’s hand. That electrical path from fibers to hand is key to the Silver Anti-Static Record Brush’s success: Upon gripping the handle and gently applying the brush’s bristles to the surface of an LP, the user essentially becomes the ground for static electricity. Like its sibling, AudioQuest’s Gold Anti-Static Record Brush, which boasts even more (1,248,000) conductive carbon fibers, the Silver Anti-Static Record Brush is a direct descendant of AudioQuest’s tried-and-TRUE Carbon Fiber Record Brush. Dating back to 1982, AudioQuest’s Carbon Fiber Record Brush is a TRUE hi-fi classic, trusted for decades by audiophiles, vinyl enthusiasts, collectors, record-shop owners, DJs, and anyone else who cares about LPs. In creating the improved design, AudioQuest established new tooling for every part of the Anti-Static Record Brush. The revamped Anti-Static Record Brush has ideal conductivity from its carbon fibers through its internal parts to the ergonomically positioned conductive contacts. AudioQuest also reinvestigated the performance potential of carbon fiber bristles, thoughtfully selecting a far greater quantity of smaller bristles to sweep away microscopic dust and debris — not just the less relevant visible dust — more effectively. Building and maintaining a record collection doesn’t have to be a daunting or tedious task. The AudioQuest Silver Anti-Static Record Brush makes it easy: Simply place a record on your turntable’s platter, start the turntable, and wait until the record is spinning at its proper speed (33, 45, or 78RPMs). Holding the Anti-Static Record Brush by its silver finger grips, place its fibers across the grooves — firmly enough that the bristles make constant contact with the record’s surface and gently enough that the bristles do not bend. Allow the record to turn for two or three rotations so that the Anti-Static Record Brush can collect the visible dust and any invisible microscopic dust. Gently and smoothly slide the brush away from the platter’s center spindle, toward your body, and off the record’s surface. Rotate the Anti-Static Record Brush within its handle to remove any dirt and debris from its carbon fiber bristles. Repeat the process as desired. Cleaning your records before and after each listening session helps keep them free from dust and debris while eliminating static that can contribute to annoying snaps, crackles, and pops. This safe and simple record-cleaning process also benefits your phono cartridge’s stylus, enhancing its performance and extending its lifespan by ensuring that it travels a smoother, cleaner path through the vinyl’s grooves. Make the AudioQuest Silver Anti-Static Record Brush an important part of your vinyl-care routine and join tens of thousands who have trusted AudioQuest with keeping their valuable collections clean, quiet, and static-free.
