Game Changer - But Pricey

Upgrading from the $30 AT3600L conical stylus to the Audio-Technica VM540ML Microline on my Technics SL-1600 MK2 was huge. Muddy highs and fuzzy mids turned crisp with killer detail, separation, and soundstage for rock and jazz. Bass tightened, vocals breathed, inner grooves tracked flawlessly on worn vinyl, and surface noise dropped. Easy setup at 2g VTF means low record wear. Total game-changer.
