This is needed if your car is newer and you just can't replace the head unit, also if you want to upgrade your speakers and add amp. It made a huge difference, it really did clean out the sound, i heard details on the songs that i haven't noticed before. Paired with a p300-12 rockford fosgate and 2 alpine component set

Excellent sound quality, easy install, works perfect right out of the box. Doesn't sum the signals out if the box, but you can move a jumper to sum the inputs and send a fully summed output. For $200 from a brand like AudioControl this is a no-brainer.

I recently upgraded to this unit from the LC6i because I needed the Accubass to restore the bass that the factory radio was attenuating at higher volume. It did exactly that and gave my subs the clean bass signal that they were meant to reproduce. The clarity and balance is amazing, coupled with the power of my amplifier my system is better than ever. If you must keep your factory system intact while adding power and aftermarket speakers and subs, this is the product to help you do it.

I have read great things about the Audiocontrol series; I have a 2017 Chevy Trax that I did add a amp, set of components and coaxils in the back, and while it helped, there was a dissatisfaction with the sound due to the original factory unit not having enough tuning capabilities. Had this installed, and while it improved the sound, I believe that perhaps it may have been better if I gave up some functionality and got an aftermarket factory unit.

This product works wonders, I get no engine noise and I have a clear sound as it was designed too. Thank you AudioControl for a great product! One thing I need to add. Do your shopping wisely because Best Buy will not Price Match this item. They gave me the run around, and still no price match. Thinking of returning and buying through another Authorized Dealer. Its the Principle, not the money. Best Buy - Remove your statement of Price Match Guarantee... this is false. Overall, I would buy this item again through a different retailer.

This is a super high quality product, it made tuning my setup super easy and also let me adjust everything I needed to right from the knobs on the front and the switches on the inside.

Used it with my factory stereo and an amp. Very satisfied with product sound quality, easy to install, and small pacage.

Great for newer cars with factory amps or without and if you want more control to fine tune your audio output. Best feature would be the amp control knob (purchased separately) it allows you to turn down the base when you need a little quieter ride to work in the early mornings!.

Best solution for integrating aftermarket audio to an oem radio! I have a 2017 honda civic with a touch screen head unit, and the climate controls are built in to it so swapping it fit another unit wasn't an option. The audio was severly lacking so i and to upgrade the speakers, add an amp and also add a sub. This unit allowed me to add an amp for the speakers and a subwoofer amp and the sound is phenomenal!

The LC7i performed as advertised, I did not want to change my factory head unit, and this device was the perfect , keep your factory head unit as well as boost existing factory system, pretty clear cut instructions , need assistance just call tech support and they will walk you through everything, best money I’ve spent in a long time, makes adding amps and subs to your factory system a breeze

This was an awesome LOC that worked flawlessly with my factory Toyota Camry touchscreen stereo. I was able to keep all factory functions but now add an amp and upgrade all the factory speakers. This LOC made it happen. Great price too.

A must have!!! All the newer cars these days is such a pain to upgrade. The door lock settings, light settings and other vehicle settings or climate control is a part of the radio, or even the design of the radio itself makes it hard buying an aftermarket head unit. So this is the next best thing. I have this in my 2018 Camry which is the basic radio system. I hooked up the lc7i to a 4 channel kicker amp(ix500) but left the original speakers just to see how they would sound. And I tell you, it is amazing. You can turn up the volume high n the output is very clean with great definition. On that same day, I hooked up 2 alpine 12” type x to a kicker amp and now my sound system is great, and that’s with a factory head unit and factory oe 6.5”speakers. This audio control is highly recommended. I installed this sound system myself when my Camry had 180 miles on it. I did have 2 sets of kicker 6,5” components I was going to install but after spending the day wiring my sound system, laziness kicked in n I was ok with keeping the oe speakers. I may install the components In the future but as if now. I feel no need.

I love this thing! It makes my car's audio sound amazing, after only owning the Lc2i for a month i upgraded my whole system again to the bigger sound system, which requires this bad boy, I'm glad did because this gave me so much better sound and plenty of options, spare no options for quality my friends.

Excellent for making sure you are receiving a full range sound for your speakers and maximizing your bass. If you have a full range signal playing through your doors and plan on running your high pass filter on your full range speakers because you have a subwoofer, it may not be necessary to purchase this model and buy the audio control Lc2i model solely for your subwoofer.
