Easily add an aftermarket amplifier to your vehicle’s factory audio system with this 6-Channel Active Line Output Converter with AccuBASS by AudioControl. The LC7i converts speaker-level (high-level) audio signals to RCA preamp (low-level) signals so you can install an aftermarket amplifier without replacing your factory radio. This six-channel line output converter also features AccuBASS technology so you can turn up the volume without losing bass.

  • Compatible with most vehicles’ OEM audio systems: For use when adding aftermarket amplifiers to car audio systems without RCA preamp outputs.
  • 6-channel interface: Features three sets of speaker-level inputs and three sets of line-level outputs for integration with your existing audio system.
  • 400W (40V) peak power input per channel @ 4 ohms: For high-quality sound.
  • 8.5V (RMS) maximum output voltage @ 14.4V: For efficient operation.
  • AccuBASS processing: Recovers bass frequencies lost at higher volumes.
  • Turn-on trigger mode switch: Choose between GTO Signal Sense (DC offset) to automatically power the line output converter or remote 12V input for manual control.
  • Internal channel summing: Provides a full-range preamp signal for factory radios with built-in crossovers.
  • AutoMode inputs: Turns a 4-channel input into a 6-channel output for factory audio systems with limited output channels.
  • Independent level matching controls: Allows you to adjust the output signals from -15dB to +15dB to ensure proper level matching throughout the entire audio system.
  • Slim chassis with integrated mounting brackets: Enables quick and easy installation.
  • Optional dash remote: Allows you to add a subwoofer with independent level control (ACR-1 sold separately).
  • 5-year warranty: To protect against defects in materials and workmanship.

Q: What is the maximum output voltage of this audio converter?

A: The maximum output voltage is 8.5V (RMS) at 14.4V.

Q: Does this device have a feature that helps maintain bass at higher volumes?

A: Yes, it features AccuBASS® circuitry which maintains and restores bass as the volume is turned up.

Q: Can I use this converter with my factory car radio?

A: Yes, this converter is designed for use with most vehicles with factory-installed audio systems.

Q: What is the frequency response of this audio converter?

A: This audio converter has a frequency response of 10Hz - 22kHz.

Q: How much peak power input can each channel of this converter handle?

A: Each channel can handle 400W (40V) peak power input at 4 ohms.

Q: How does the GTO™ circuit work in this device?

A: The GTO™ (Great Turn-On) circuit powers up the unit when it detects a signal on the speaker-level input.

Q: the lc7i has the accubass function. is that the same as a epicenter or would I need to purchase the epicenter separate if I wanted that feature??

A: Not exactly, it's more like a bass boost that activates at a certain voltage/volume of your stock radio to help increase the bass when the stock radio automatically lowers the bass down as you turn your music up so your stock speakers won't pop. The Epicenter is a device that lowers down the Frequency of the bass on higher bass notes so that you can hear lower Frequency bass instead of mid Frequency bass on your subwoofers. Hope this helps.

Q: I lease vehicles. Can this be installed and remove easily for the next vehicle?

A: As long as you know what u are doing doing yes, but car audio tech would b recommended. This is usually installed when sub/amp kit is installed and lc7 is 200$. Best of luck
