About this product
Sized for wire up to 7AWG and specifically crafted to complement our best-selling Rocket 44 and Rocket 88 speaker cables, AudioQuest’s 507 Banana Plugs are high-quality parts carefully designed for outstanding audio performance. Unlike common banana plugs comprising multiple pieces of inexpensive metals such as brass, AudioQuest’s 507 Banana plugs are fabricated from a single solid piece of high-purity Purple Copper. This is then treated to a Hanging Silver process in which the part is directly plated with high-purity silver, incorporating no sound-damaging intermediary layer. Taking performance further, AudioQuest’s Cold-Welded connection avoids the use of sound-damaging solder. AudioQuest’s Multi-Tool is included with every package of 507 Bananas. The Allen-wrench end allows secure tightening (Cold-Welding) of the electrical connection while the Phillips-head end allows tightening of the strain-relief screw. Available in Gold or Silver, in sets of four or six. Spade lugs also available.

GoldOne-Piece Design
AudioQuests 507 Banana is fabricated from a single solid piece of high-purity Purple Copper for a strong electrical connection and minimal distortion.
Hanging-Silver Plating
Rather than using conventional drum-tumbler plating, AudioQuests labor-intensive process requires that each plug is attached to a hanger and hung in a pure-silver bath. Not only does this provide a very thick Direct-Silver plate with a gorgeous finish, but the exact chemistry of the plating bath and the bonding of plating to the underlying part can now be more productively controlled for optimal sonic performance.
High-Contact Pressure System
AudioQuests Cold-Welding connection method ensures the structural integrity of the conductor and plug is kept completely intact without the damaging effect of heat and extra materials like solder, which change the character of the wire at the point of termination.
Multi-Tool Included
AudioQuests simple Multi-Tool combines an Allen-wrench for securing the plugs electrical connection and a Phillips-head screwdriver for tightening their strain-relief screws.

Enjoy cleaner, clearer, more naturally beautiful sound from a wide range of modern and legacy digital devices—CD players, cable boxes, HDTVs, powered speakers and subwoofers, soundbars, laptops, portable-audio players, game consoles, and more—with this high-performance, low-noise AudioQuest Carbon optical cable. Like all AudioQuest products, Carbon Optical cable is meticulously designed for outstanding performance and exceptional value. The single large fiber in most Toslink cables allows light from the LED source to enter at many different angles, causing signal paths of various lengths, smearing the data across time, reducing bandwidth, and causing a loss of information: audible signal distortion caused by the complex dispersion of light. AudioQuest’s Carbon Optical cable, however, features 19 narrow-aperture fibers of the highest-purity synthetic, creating a cleaner, more direct signal path with significantly reduced dispersion and lower distortion. Further, AudioQuest Carbon Optical cable uses precision-polished fiber ends. The non-metallic connection provides critical galvanic isolation, eliminating the transmission and pickup of induced radio-frequency noise. Includes 3.5mm mini-toslink adaptor. All standard lengths of AudioQuest Carbon Optical cable of 8m and greater feature a PVC outer jacket rated for in-wall use. Enjoy cleaner, clearer, more naturally beautiful and intelligible sound with AudioQuest Carbon Optical cable.

Forest Coax features high-purity Solid 0.5% Silver conductors and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation system for the most efficient dissipation of radio-frequency noise.

While, thanks to HDMI, Toslink is not so often used to connect a DVD player to an A/V receiver, Toslink connectors are common on cable-boxes, TV sets, subwoofers, all sorts of products. And now, the 3.5 mm Mini Optical connector, also somewhat incorrectly known as Mini-Toslink, is everywhere from the 3.5 mm dual-purpose headphone jack on a Mac laptop, to inputs on some of the finest portables.
