Worth It. Especially If Not Missing Parts

I recieved my item with the box open and the DBS missing so... I don't know how to recommend where to purchase. But sound wise this cable has come closer than anything else I've used. My system is already quite resolving, the cable improves upon the clarity and allows one to more effortlessly focus on the details without harshness or smoothing anything out. Rather than go into an "audiophile filled spew" I'll just say, it's expensive for what it is but I have yet to experience another alternative with the same performance.

    Great Product

This was my first upgrade over the standard USB-A to USB-B cable. I have not tried other cables; however, I can say that the AudioQuest Coffee does present a clear, transparent, and crisp sound. The difference in clarity and musical detail was immediately audible. If you can find these cables on a sale, they will certainly upgrade your system and deliver high-quality sound for all your digital sources. Typically, I will stream Amazon Music or Sirius XM but the cables work just as well for YouTube audio and others.

    Excellent

Can you really hear a difference with USB cable? Absolutely! This cable is a cut above the rest. It has silver in it which is a phenomenal conductor. I did a comparison with a cheap cable and could clearly hear the difference. It had better bass and better highs. Much less distortion as well. This cable is perfect if you are streaming audio in a high-end home entertainment system or if you are a DJ with nice equipment. For example, if you have a MacBook Pro which costs typically around $2000 and a DJ controller by pioneer in excess of $1000, this cable is the rims on your Cadillac. Any other USB cable was just hubcaps.

    Audioquest Coffee comparison.

I have had the Carbon and the Diamond version of the USB A to USB B cable. This Coffee version is much better than the Carbon and pretty close to the Diamond.

Are you ready to have your mind blown?

Got it home, took some pics, uploaded to Twitter and got 2,000 likes. It is not expensive, it's an invaluable investment. I am still trying to figure out how to disconnect my Bluetooth printer from the home wifi network, but am sure that I will see huge latency improvements on my cannon printer. I didn't have enough money for the ink cartridge replacement pack so it may take a few months to know if quality improves as well. Either way, this cord may as well be called the umbilicol cord because it has provided me a whole new life!

  • Is there a discount if you buy 2?

If you're looking for a discount this probably isn't the cable for you. Fine craftsmanship and the highest print performance don't come cheap. Sounds like you're in the Ferrari dealership when should be looking at a Hyundai.

  • So how is this cable 400 dollars and not a scam?

You can find this product on the Audio Quest web site, sold through retail partners like Magnolia Home Theatre. It's aimed at audiophiles and others who can be convinced their digitized music sounds better if the data travels over a really expensive cable. Seems dubious, as long as the 0s and 1s are received without error there should be no difference. You don't need a $500 USB cable for that, particularly at USB 2.0 data rates.
