Great cable improved the sound quality on the Sonos Ark at first, I was a skeptic because of my past experiences with rockfish & monster cables but wow!!! This is amazing cable expensive but that’s why I’m giving value 3 stars Some might not notice a cleared sound other like myself noticed it from first hearing it from using the Sonos cable then swapped this into the Ark and the Enhanced Hdmi port.

All audioquest stuff - excellent. Using for hw-q990d. If your thinking "a cable is a cable" your wrong! Worth every penny!

I bought it to replace my 8K Rocketfish HDMI cable. There was almost no difference (not significant) in my Mac Mini M4 Pro paired with an LG UltraGear gaming monitor … bummer! There was no noticeable difference (not at all) in my Apple TV … bummer! Then, I replaced the cable in my Xbox X console, and the difference was dramatic. See attached pictures. The AudioQuest cable showed brighter and improved HDR quality. As a matter of fact the game experience seemed different. I am planning to buy another one for my PS5.

Audio Quest truly improves on the sound quality passing through my receiver. Picture quality, in my opinion, is comparable to other high quality cables. To me, worth the high price tag these cables warrant! Makes my PS5 gaming sound and look fantastic!
You pay for quality. I had a rocketfish and DUDE is it an improvement! I learned with this that you must pay up to get the best if your OLED tvs and such.

These HDMI cables really do increase the quality of the audio! I was skeptical, but did have any experience of a demo at Magnolia, Springfield Best Buy. They switched the HDMI cables and it was pretty obvious. I have hooked them up to my home system and they do allow for very accurate and clear sound. I was quite surprised and pleased!

The AudioQuest Forest 48 HDMI Cable is exactly what you want for a premium home theater or gaming setup. Everything from build quality to performance feels thoughtfully engineered and noticeably better than the generic cables that came in the box with my devices. Why it’s worth it: Crystal-Clear Picture & Audio: With full support for 4K, 8K, and even 10K signals at 48 Gbps, this cable future-proofs your system for any high-res content you’re streaming, gaming, or watching on disc. Reliable, Stable Connection: No signal dropouts, flicker, or artifacting — just smooth, dependable performance every time. Perfect for high-bandwidth HDR content, Dolby Vision, and next-gen console gaming. In-Wall Rated: Having an in-wall rated cable gives peace of mind for clean, safe installations behind the wall or in an entertainment center — ideal for a permanent, professional look. Durable, Premium Build: The Forest series feels solid and well-constructed, and the 2.5-foot length is just right for most A/V racks or wall-mounted TVs. Overall, this HDMI cable delivers exactly what it promises: high bandwidth, great compatibility, and dependable performance without the hassles. If you want to ensure your gear is getting the best possible signal — especially with high-end video and audio formats — this is a top-tier choice.

Recently upgraded all of my home TV HDMI cables. I just purchased a new Samsung Q90T and also scored a PS5 on launch day. Because of the new devices, I decided to upgrade my cables to support 4K and HDMI 2.1. For years I was running very old outdated HDMI cables that were supplied by whatever product came in the box. I didn't realize that not all HDMI cables are made to support all devices. I did tons of research and determined that AudioQuest provided great cables for a great cost. I would highly recommend upgrading your HDMI cables if you have or are thinking about purchasing any new gen audio/video equipment. Old devices can operate using old 1.4/2.0 HDMI cables but if you have new audio/video equipment (2016+) your devices will run at their optimum performance using 4K/8K/10K wiring. DONT use the manufactures supplied cables as they are very cheap quality and wont provide top performance. AudioQuest is a little pricey in comparison to other brands but they are one of the few that actually are 2.1 certified. Definitely recommend if you are in the market for any audio/video upgrades/purchases.

So I have some other high-end HDMI cables that was running on my professional camera gear, and I unplug those cables and put the cables in and the minute I plugged it in I noticed a significant difference in quality and the sound quality image quality the second I plugged it in I’m almost eager to purchase another set just to have it as a back up. This is incredible. Great great quality.

I genuinely believe these are the best cables you can get on the market. They serve all functions and are backwards compatible. I would recommend these cables for someone that appreciates the finer things in life. Also worth mentioning the difference in picture is more noticeable from the top end TV’s in my opinion. I also recommend these for anyone with a decent surround sound set up as the silver conductors make a considerable difference. That said, buy what you are comfortable spending. This is not something worth pinching your pocket book over.

The cable performs flawlessly with 4K at 120Hz and supports advanced HDMI 2.1 features like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and eARC. Video output is stable with no signal dropouts, flickering, or handshake issues, even during fast-paced gaming or high-bitrate content.

HDMI has always been just a standard thing for me but upgrading to these cables had made a huge difference to my gaming experience. I was hesitant at first but this really allowed me to get the most from my PS5 to Samsung Q80 TV. Would highly recommend to any gamer

I spoke to magnolia tech at store . I asked why picture quality on store 4k tv's are so much better than what i get in my home ( 4k 70 series samsung 65") . He said if you are running a xfinity installed hdmi cable that is the problem. S o he showed me Audioquest Forest 48 hdmi cable . He said video quality will be from a volkswagon to upgrade to a Tesela !!!! If you do not like what you see when you plug it in simply return it. He said believe me you will be VERY HAPPY AND YOU WILL NOT RETURN IT . Well he was RIGHT . A year later now my tv is a TELSA ! I would tell you you will not regret buying this cable . As a matter of fact i am buying another when i an done with this review for my 4k blu-ray player. A MUST have for everyone that owns any brand any model 4k equipment .

I know these are expensive. However, let me tell you that it solved so many of the issues I was having with sound and display. I needed reliable cables from my AVR to the TV and the PS5 to the AVR. I went through SEVERAL options bought on Amazon and finally got fed up and bought these. Problems gone and the sound and picture are actually better. The PS5 always comes up at 120hz 4K now, before it was hit or miss.

Using this on my Samsung Q60 43” with Apple 4K and the image is amazing. I was using a regular HDMI cable and I was having a lot of jittery scenes on everything. This fixed all my issues. No more jittery scenes and the color is amazing. Whoever said expensive cables don’t make a difference is a liar. These are worth every penny. I have no regrets.
