Black Beauty features several AudioQuest design elements that work together to reduce distortion and efficiently dissipate radio-frequency noise. These include: Direction-Controlled Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, Carbon/Graphene Mesh-Network, 0.5% Silver-Plated RF Drain-Wires, Copper-Plated Plug Casings, and Hanging-Silver over Red-Copper plugs.
AudioQuest's Flat Series speaker cable is built around a Semi-Solid Concentric design. While this is not as transparent as AudioQuest's Solid-Core Conductors, Semi-Solid wire is significantly more resolved than conventional stranded bundle wire.
SLiP 14/2 features Semi-Solid Concentric Packed conductors that reduce harshness and confusion. Long-Grain Copper (LGC) has less grain junctions and lower distortion which preserves clarity and naturlness. SLiP 14/2's low-Inductance Spiral Geometry minimizes the sound going out-of-focus as length increases. The EasySLiP Minimalist Outer Jacket is UL-Rated for in-wall use (CL3, FT4).
