This is classic Audio Quest quality and performance, I went from using the bestbuy essentials cable to the Irish red and wow it was a massive difference in performance. The noise floor dropped significantly low frequency dynamics where greatly improved and my humming went away completely. I cannot recommend this cable enough the only thing negative is the price but if you want to best price to performance the Irish Red is the perfect cable to get.

Replaced a sub-woofer and cable due to lightning. This cable works perfectly to produce quality sound with a cord long enough to reach my equipment without having to use mirrors and ladders. Grounded to the chassis, I can feel the floor move under my seat while enjoying great movies and an immersive sound experience.

After many years of using my definitive technology BP7004 speakers with speaker cables only, I decided to try using the LFE input so I purchased a pair of Audioquest Irish Red subwoofer cables. The bass appears to be fuller and not muddy. Although the cables were a bit pricey, so far I am pleased with the results.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love the irish red cable. I have never experienced any humming and my subwoofers work just like I expected them too. The cable itself also has really great build quality.

At first I thought it was just an expensive cable when recommend by magnolia sales guy. WOW.... the difference is night and day. I'm no expert in audio but I can say that the signals are clean and no hissing coming from the sub. Overall expensive but you get what you pay for. ...

The cable works great, and the connection is very reliable. The subwoofer is recognized by the receiver as soon as the cable is connected. Although there might be cheaper alternatives, this cable has been trouble free, and with great signal transmission, which makes it worth the money. The sound output of the subwoofer is amazing with accurate, and thundering bass. This cable is specifically designed for a subwoofer. It also offers additional ground connection which is a nice feature. This seems to be a quality made cable. I highly recommend this cable.

Not to disparage Best Buy Essential's subwoofer cables, but these AudioQuest - Irish Red subwoofer cables are miles above in sound quality. I needed a pair of cables for my two subwoofers. Initially I bought the Best Buy cables, but they made the sound way too "boomy" on the 12-inch subs. Once I replaced those with the AudioQuest - Irish Red cables, the bass was much more accurate, smooth, and toe tapping. Bass became less fatiguing to my ears. Bass should sound smooth and not like bass units you hear in car sound systems. Highly recommended!

I wanted a little better than the normal $10 cables that you see at most stores. This one will probably out last most of them. You won’t hear much of a difference in sound over a cheap cable, but this will keep you going with great sound quality way longer than others.

If you have a subwoofer that cost you $500+ I would recommend getting good cables if you have a mid to high-end surround system. Cheaper systems like Home Theatre in Box you can get by with cheaper cable. The better your system is the better the cables should be. The cost only stings once so get it if you have mid to high-end system.

very happy with this cable. I tried others but seemed to have issues over that this one has not had at all. don't think anything more expensive could make a difference buy with confidence!

I got this to go with my Bowers and Wilkins powered sub-woofer. It does not make sense to use a cheap cable to run an expensive speaker. This cable is optimized for sub-woofers. The sound is great, and the investment worth it.

I ve purchased 3 of these cables now for wiring between my Marantz AV Receivers and JL Audio Subwoofers. I am very pleased with the quality and build of these RCA cables. The length is great too!

very nice and durable cable. it is a little pricy, but i like the fact that it has ground forks on both sides to get rid of the humming noise in the background if you were to get a cable without them.

Bought this cable to accompany my Martin Logan Subwoofer and the signal couldn't be any cleaner. Well made and made to last, you can't go wrong with this cable.

Better sound quality than standard cables for subwoofers. Perfect length as well for my setup

Switching from a monster cable that was priced very silimlarly, the audioquest Irish red was night-and-day difference. Bass was significantly tighter and punchier. Even range was improved, being able to hear WAY more frequencies than with the monster. Overall it's a no brainer and I will highly recommend audioquest.

Quality made cable doing exactly as advertised. A bit too high for a single cable in my opinion

Audioquest makes great cables they may be a more little expensive but you get what you pay for,I have had other cheaper cables but were the main difference with Audioquest is in the quality of the construction of the cable also the only other thing I should have done is to buy a little extra length for I could of moved my subwoofer closer to the corner in the room.

When you invest in quality audio, it's no time to stop with the cables. Little pricey but works as anticipated.
