Q: Hi...when I put the ZVOX - SoundBase 670 Soundbar with 3 Built-In Subwoofers - Black (Open-Box Excellent) in my cart this item shows to add it...do I HAVE to purchase this OptiLink for the Soundbase to work or is it simply a suggestion...thanks, Catt

A: You don't have to purchase that particular cable, but you will need a cable to make the connection. A better cable will give you better sound quality. Pearl is our entry level fiber optic cable. It's less than $30 for a 1.5 m. cable. It's a great "bang for the buck" model!

Q: Would this be a suitable product to connect definitive audio speakers/ denon receiver- Sony Bravia hbr 650/direct tv components. I am trying to listen to the Sony tv- through my speakers, using the receiver as the QB and direct tv cable. Thank you!

A: If the only audio output jack on the TV is a Toslink (fiber optic) jack, and your A/V receiver has a Toslink input, absolutely. If that's not the case, email us at [email protected] and we can suggest alternatives.

Q: Will this fit a Polk sound bar?

A: As long as it has a Toslink or Optical link it will work. Note: There is a little protective cover you must remove before inserting.

Q: how long is the cable

A: The cable is 1.5 meters or 4.9 feet in length.

Q: Will this work with an Xbox One X?

A: yes this will work with the one x, this is a standard optical cable with better internals and shielding.

Q: If I,buy the SB500, should I buy this cable and why?

A: I tried cheaper quality but I decided to pay more and the sound is a lot better. I love it.

Q: i'm looking to connect my laptop to my marantz av7701 to listen to music, what is the best audioquest cable for the job

A: Buy a yamaha yba-11 blutetooth wireless adapter. It uses a digital coxail cable to input your music into the receiver. Ive been doing alot of research on this and this seems to be the best wireless way to trasmit music. Otherwise Audioquest sells mhl, apple or other top of the line cables to get your music over to your reciever.
