Ive been using AudioQuest cables since 2017-2018 on my gaming consoles and had an amazing experience both with the visuals and audio of my games. Its because of such an experience that I decided to incorporate it into my high end gaming pc/console setup in the current day.

This cable is a huge upgrade from my last cable that was some knock-off I bought on Amazon. I wish I had bought it sooner. It works great for my graphics card.

From Vodka 18gb to Carbon 48gb the visual quality was amazing. Didn't quite have the sparkle effect as the vodka 18gb in audio to my ears but the step up to Thunderbird 48gb was superior in video and audio I have ever heard from my system (Samsung q80r soundbar LgC9). I am also running a vodka 48gb wire through earc. Crispy and thick audio. BOOM! Buy this wire and any audioquest product. AND I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS. I was compelled.

Saw such a difference with the vodka cables that I decided to go out all out on this last cable and can really see a difference. If you don’t have a super high end tv maybe you don’t need to spend this much and a cinnamon would be fine for you, but I’m Re-doing everything at once and this will be a good investment for he next 10 years

When you buy a good quality TV set a $10 HDMI cable just won’t do it. Do you need to spend a little bit more on a high quality HDMI cable for that perfect pitcher and sound like I did no regrets.

I recently upgraded my AVR receiver to the Denon X2800H, capable of 4k 60/120 and 8k 60. I plugged my 3rd gen Fire TV Cube and Xbox Series X directly into the receiver. While the Series X picture looked great, the cube had serious noise issues over HDMI even while watching Dolby Vision 4k content. I previously used an Audioquest Pearl 48gbps cable from my cube to the TV and didn't have these issues but after upgrading the receiver i used that cable for the eARC connection and a 4k Rocketfish cable for the cube to receiver. Decided to upgrade that cable and went with this Audioquest Sky cable which is better than the Pearl. There is such a huge difference in picture quality alone. The noise is gone. Picture is crystal clear and audio sounds phenomenal. One change i did make was plugged the Series X directly to my TV cause there are handshake issues with Xbox and fire TV devices and there has been for years now. They constantly fight over hdmi CEC connection. After doing this, that issue is gone. Didn't make sense to have it plugged into the receiver anyway cause for whatever reason you don't get any overlay from the receiver with the Xbox. Everything works much better like this and I'm glad i doesn't the money on this cable. Makes me wonder how good Audioquest more expensive cables are cause they have cables to go north of $1k, not that i would ever spend that much on a cable though. I'm interested in the Cinnamon cable now though, maybe the Carbon. Definitely recommend Audioquest HDMI cables all in all though.

I am not one of those that would spend hundreds (or thousands for some) on cabling because the gains are so small that any number of items in the room (leather vs fabric couch?) would have a bigger impact. But I did want a high quality cable, I did want a fast 48Gps one, and one that could go above 4K. For all that, this was the best value. Whether you believe a little silver makes a difference or not, this cable is far better constructed than the cheaper ones and you don't have to worry about HDMI standards and speeds. It covers all of it. After using it, is everything I was looking for.

I have gone through various brands and price ranges of HDMI cables over the years and they all seem to evetually stop working correctly. These are the moat expensive cables I've purchased. I have read numerous reviews on various sites that claim you can actually tell the difference between Audioquest and other brands. I have to say that so far there does seem to be a difference in sound. They also seem to hold a better connection with the HDMI ARC. Picture quality is good but I'm not sure it's any better than other HDMI cables in that regard. I just hope they last longer especially given their price.
