August Burns Red - Looks Fragile After All - VINYL LP

Reissue on vinyl for the third album by the punk band The Exploited, released in 1983 through Pax Records. The title refers to Margaret Thatcher's decision to go to war over the Falkland Islands in 1982, suggesting that she did so almost on a whim. Let's Start a War reached the Indie Chart Top 10 when first issued in 1983, this album also includes the single 'Rival Leaders' which hit No. 11 in the Indie Chart. A classic of the 'UK82' hardcore punk sound that provides a blueprint for the decade of punk and metal to come, and all in the space of just over half an hour. Raw, visceral, and unapologetic The definitive 1983 hardcore masterpiece on exclusive limited edition clear vinyl

Beneath the Threshold represents Austere in the here and now. While their previous album InchCorrosion of HeartsInch (2023) formed the bridge between the band's musical history and the artists' fresh vision, InchBeneath the ThresholdInch takes a leap of expression. Austere's sonic heritage is still alive. Even though their roots in early Norse black metal and it's depressive Scandinavian offspring continue to shine through, it is also apparent that the Australians have audibly strengthened their emotional expressiveness and previous blackgaze leanings beyond the point where a stylistic shift towards the latter needs to be diagnosed. On InchBeneath the ThresholdInch, Austere offer more hooks and melodic harmonies to complement the multi-layered, harsh and dreamlike guitar textures expertly woven by Keepin with the aid of Yatras' emotive drumming.
