About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. Auras new album explores the complex relationship between humankind and technology, as people evolve from symbiotic parts of mother nature into cybernetic bits of code. The intellectual depth of the subject matter on Binary Garden is juxtaposed by it's immediate accessibility. The expansion of Auras into bigger melodic hooks is more suited to the digital single oriented era than ever, even as Binary Garden works as a cohesive whole. Auras hail from a country that's produced a high volume of heavy music innovation. It's the nation that blessed the world with the legendary Rush, prog-metal pioneers Voivod, metalcore madmen Protest The Hero, and death metal stalwarts Cryptopsy. A newer entry to this lineage, Auras operate in a musical landscape instantly familiar to devotees of Meshuggah, Periphery, The Contortionist, and Tool. But their specific take on the genre combines the bite of thrash, the weight of death metal, and the spirit of hardcore with a hypnotic groove-oriented pulse shrouded in a captivating atmosphere. Album Tracks 1. Momenta 2. Pseudo Intellect 3. Erode 4. Another Place 5. Whiteout 1. Demoness 2. Disenchant 3. The Last Canary 4. Essence 5. Abyss

Aureole is Markov Soroka's abstract and ambient exploration of the universe around him. Being also the mastermind behind Tchornobog and Drown, these three projects all take place within the same narrative world, with Aureole exploring the depths of space. Fuzzed out and distinctly atmospheric, 2014's InchAlunar' is Aureole's debut album and drips with Cascadian black metal sounds, yet emerges from a completely different locale. InchLike any genre of music, there are true gems that transcend what our perceptions of that genre are, and I think Alunar is solidly in that category. Inch - Metal Bandcamp InchIt's a living, breathing landscape of hopelessness that this album paints in it's sprawling lamentations.Inch - Cvlt Nation. InchAlunarInch is now reissued by Lupus Lounge / Prophecy Productions as Digipak CD and - for the first time - on LP (black and ltd. Silver). Album Tracks 1. I Citadel Alunar 2. II The Voice of Nebular Flame 3. III The Senility of the Hourglass 4. IV Crusade of NGC 5128 5. V Alunar, Decrepit
