The AutoLINK AL629 can read and erase codes on domestic, Asian and European vehicles, 1996 and newer. In addition to scanning engine codes, the AL629 can also scan ABS, SRS (airbag) and transmission systems for codes. The AL629 can retrieve vehicle information (VIN, CALID and CVN). The AL629 displays, graphs, records and plays back Live Data and supports all 10 test modes of the latest J1979 OBDII test specs. The AL629P also presents I/M Readiness (emissions) status. The tool also presents enhanced Mode 6 data. Users can view Data Trouble Code (DTC) definitions on screen. The AL629 features a 2.8” LCD display and also can print a repair report when connected to a pc. Software updates, easily downloaded directly from Autel’s website, are free for the life of the tool.
