Q: Why is the metal probe that goes the the water bottle bent.
A: So it can reach the bottom most part of the side of the bottle. Otherwise water will pool in outer edges and won’t be able to be pulled upwards

A: Yes, Avalon water cooler dispensers are compatible with 3-5 gallon water jugs.
Q: how long is the cord that you plug in
A: About 3-4 ft.
Q: Can any brand of 5 gallons work with the machine?
A: Yes, I believe so! We have two types/builds of 5 gallons and both fit fine.
A: Did you turn it on. There's a small switch in the back. Maybe you need to flip that in order to get it to pump. If all else fails. Try looking on YouTube.
Q: Does this machine make any kind of noise..I had one before that was kind of loud.
A: yes is does make noise, dont no why but after a few it quiets down.
