About this product

Avantree Audikast 4 - Auracast & Bluetooth 5.4 TV Transmitter for Headphones & Selected Hearing Aids, aptX Adaptive & HD, Optical & AUX Output, Future-Ready & Upgradeable

Features

  • FOR Auracast And Classic Bluetooth Users

Two modes: Auracast for Auracast headphones, speakers, and only the hearing aids shown in the images. Classic Bluetooth audio transmitter for TV headphones or speakers (only one device at a time). For hearing aids, we recommend Audikast 4HA.

  • Watch TV At Your Own Volume

Connect to your TV via optical or AUX output for private TV audio listening through headphones or hearing devices. Some TVs without optical or AUX output are not supported. NOTE: When using Optical output, the TV audio format must be set to PCM.

  • Stable And Future-Ready Connection

Built on Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast support and USB-C firmware updates, designed to stay compatible as Auracast devices continue to evolve.

  • NOT FOR Non-Auracast Hearing Aids

Auracast works only with Auracast-enabled hearing aids. Please check the compatible hearing aid models shown in the images before purchase.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE – Classic Bluetooth Limitation

In classic Bluetooth mode, only one headphone or speaker can be connected at a time. Multi-listener audio sharing is available only in Auracast mode.

    Auracast TV audio.

Works as advertised. Using optical input and Auracast output to my hearing aids. Very clear sound. Complete reception coverage in my home.

Questions & Answers

  • Can 2 people listen on headphones at the same time with this unit?

Yes as long as the devices have the ability to use Auracast. Newer hearing devices like my ReSound hearing aids can use Auracast Assist in the ReSound Smart 3D app to scan for devices broadcasting Auracast. Anyone with devices that have that functionality will be able to hear it. You’ll start to see more TVs with Auracast along with Mall and Airports that broadcast information. It’s for people who are hard of hearing and tired of reading closed captioning. 2026 Samsung 8K and LGs are the first TVs to start advertising this functionality.
