Axel Rudi Pell - The Ballads V - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

FOR FANS OF WHITESNAKE, DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW, SCORPIONS, MSG, GILLAN, DIO, HEAVEN & HELLBallads play a very special role in the history of rock music. Firstly They document the emotional side of the genre and show that behind (almost) every rocker's hard chest beats a soft heart. Secondly Those quieter songs are being played by radio stations without rock-affinity - and are loved by listeners for their emotional depth. And thirdly In an increasingly hectic world, ballads offer brief moments of pause, of reflection on the essential things in life. So it's no wonder that the ballad compilations of the Axel Rudi Pell Band are an absolute success. Over 250, 000 copies have been sold of 'The Ballads I' (1993) to 'The Ballads V' (2017) alone. And nine (!) of the current Top-10 most streamed Pell songs on Spotify are ballads! More than enough reason therefore, why fans of the Bochum guitarist and songwriter regularly push for a continuation of this series. Successfully On April 21, 2023 'The Ballads VI' will be released on CD, double vinyl LP and as , as always via Steamhammer/SPV. And - as expected - the will come with a few small surprises. Not only is 'The Ballads VI' the latest edition of the popular ARP 'The Ballads' series, but also the direct successor of the studio album 'Lost XXIII', which managed to rank 2nd in German sales charts in April 2022.

2011's Black Up was the first full-length sonic move from Shabazz Palaces, and it remains a milestone of forward-looking hip-hop. This new LP edition is on luxurious and limited gold vinyl. Black up Like rich velvet hijabs or gold threaded abayas. Luxury as understood by the modest. Shabazz Palaces. If Bedouins herded beats instead of goats and settled in Seattle instead of the Atlas Mountains, this would be their album. Forward thinkers but nostalgic for a sparer time when ancient astronomers only recognized five planets. Hip hop. Black light uses electromagnetic radiation to eradicate microorganisms, but shabazz didn't come to kill a sound, just to shine their own incandescent lamp on this. Hear. Hard and clear. Fifty thousand years in the making. Honorable. -palaceer pink gators. Produced by Knife Knights. Plcrs at Gunbeat Serenade Studio in Outplace Palacelands. It was recorded and mixed in Lixx-alog by Blood.

FOR FANS OF Scorpions, Deep Purple, Dio, Whitesnake, Rainbow, MSGNo doubt about it The world would be a much poorer place without Axel Rudi Pell. On his 22nd (!) studio album 'Risen Symbol', the Bochum-basedguitarist and songwriter continues to fly the melodic hard rock flag without watering down his style with pseudo-modern stylistic variations orexpendable studio gimmicks. At the same time, he is constantly looking for new influences, exciting inspirations and catchy hooks. One of the bestthings about ARP's anthems is that they are perfectly tailored to the charismatic voice of frontman Johnny Gioeli. The American vocalist is one of themost eminent rock singers worldwide and, together with Pell, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, and the two longstanding ARP membersFerdy Doernberg (keyboards) and Volker Krawczak (bass), has been an integral part of a perfectly oiled machine for more than ten years, wowing fansand media alike. 'Risen Symbol' will be available on Steamhammer/SPV from 14 June 2024. For all those who can't wait, 3 April 2024 will see thearrival of the lead single 'Guardian Angel', featuring two pre- songs, followed on 22 May 2024 by 'Darkest Hour'. Pell comments InchBoth'Guardian Angel' and 'Darkest Hour' are typical ARP songs, though not necessarily representative of 'Risen Symbol'.Inch
