A: if it's a 05 or newer you need then$100+ wire harness. My 06 impala doesn't have on star and I still needed it. You will see. A regular wire harness won't work because there is 2 connections coming from your dash and a regular wire harness only has 1. So to answer your question u have to buy the expensive one. Yea they get us some how some way!!!
