Miami's BOSE were one of the first Miami Bass/Electro collectives. They scored big locally in the clubs and over the years their records have ended up in some of the world's top DJ's record bags. This compilation contains some of their most popular tracks, including bonus remixes and an unusual cover of Gary Glitter's InchRock N' Roll Part. 2Inch and their big club banger, InchRock the WorldInch. All selections newly remastered.

With music inspired by slow music of every kind, and lyrics that are mostly introverted and sometimes cryptic, Kurt's songs are for those who like a rainy day, a cup of coffee, chocolate, bottled beer, lots of free time, the north, the sea - and preferably some, most or all of those combined. Kurt is an amateur cook, learned sociologist, computer nerd, film freak, failed student of philosophy, rotten dancer, determined nice person, ardent eater of meat, translator, underdeveloped guitarist, avid drinker of beer and musician. Born in 1972, in New York USA, to a Scottish mother and a Bavarian Father, he is known to be exceedingly upbeat and moderately lazy. He has lived in Germany for most of his life. Besides his solo efforts, he is also guitarist, co-vocalist and songwriter in the German band 'Renz bei Rechner'. Kurt is currently living in Germany, in the university town of Tuebingen. He has studied philosophy, sociology and political science, but is not at all sure as to what purpose. 'Raintracks' - released in 2004 - is his first solo album, and contains a selection of songs written as far back as 1993. 'Slow songs for rainy days is what best describes my songs' says Kurt - 'even the ones that are meant to be upbeat and even funny tend to have a very melancholic feel to them'.

One of the premier groups that helped to kick start the Miami bass music scene and became instrumental in the evolution of hip-hop and electro as we know it today, B.O.S.E. made a huge splash beginning in the mid-1980s with a series of singles and albums that are still highly revered today. Iconic tracks such as InchRock The World,Inch Bass Overdrive,Inch InchDon't Knock It (Till You Try It),Inch InchThis Beat Is TechnoInch and others, laid the foundation for much of the electro-funk sounds of the 1990s and 2000s. After an extended hiatus, B.O.S.E. returned to the musical fray in 2018 with the album InchEvolutionInch and are back at it again with a brand-new single that picks up where they left off. InchRock The Party (Like No One Can)Inch captures the spirit of those early B.O.S.E. recordings and brings something entirely fresh to the table, signaling that there is much more to come. This new EP offers four exclusive mixes including bonus instrumental and acappella versions. The big beat is back!
