The Super-G CMOS Filter boasts a Full Width at Half Maximum (FWHM) of just 9 nm, a significant improvement over its 10 nm predecessor. This narrower FWHM, coupled with CMOS-optimized coating technology, enhances sky darkness and effectively blocks stray light, providing you with clearer, more detailed images. One of the standout features of this filter is its superior blocking outside of the O III wavelength. It offers steeper transmission slopes and a broad plateau in the transmission range, ensuring that 97% of the emission line at 500.7 nm passes through the filter. This means that almost all the light from the nebula is captured, resulting in stunning, high-quality images. The 9 nm O-III filter is versatile and can be used with any focal ratio from f/1.8 to f/12, making it a perfect fit for all telescopes, especially when paired with a DSLR or an astronomical OSC color camera. It also performs exceptionally well in areas with high light pollution. The Super-G filter is equipped with the Reflex-Blocker coating to prevent reflections, plano-optical polishing for superior image quality, and the age-resistant Life-Coat coating for durability.
