Balthazar: Series 1 - DVD [2 Discs]

SOME SECRETS CAN'T BE BURIED FOREVER. American Gothic is the thrilling thirteen-part murder mystery based on a prominent Boston family reeling in the wake of the chilling discovery that someone in their midst is linked to an infamous string of murders. As shocking secrets from the past and present are revealed, their mounting suspicion and paranoia that one of them is a killer threatens to tear the family apart.

Balthazar is wanted by the police in France and is on the run, somewhere unexpected. Camille, Delgado and Olivia have all been suspended and are feeling listless. Eddy and Fatim are managing the Institute as best they can, and Maya [his ex-wife, a serial killer who murdered his former love, Lise], who is still in prison, has given birth to Balthazar’s child. No one knows what has become of Alexandre, Balthazar’s brother and greatest enemy. But the emergence of an especially diabolical killer forces Balthazar out of hiding – for the worse, certainly, but also for the better.

Devastated by his friend's death, Parisian forensic pathologist Raphaël Balthazar (Tomer Sisley) has vowed never to touch a corpse again. But his resolve wavers when he discovers a dead body while sailing, and soon he's working once more with Chief Inspector Hélène Bach (Hélène de Fougerolles), who's closing in on their most elusive suspect his wife's killer.
