Barney Bentall - Flesh and Bone - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2017 from the veteran Canadian singer/songwriter. Bone On Bone is Cockburn's first album since 2011's Small Source Of Comfort. InchThere have been so many times in my life when an invitation has come from somewhere... The cosmos... The divine... to step out of the familiar into something new. I've found it's best to listen for and follow these promptings. The song is really about that. You can stay with what you know or you can pack your bag and go where you're called, even if it seems weird - even if you can't see why or where you'll end up.Inch - Bruce Cockburn.

2017 . Every songwriter has a story. After a five-year recording hiatus, JUNO Award winner Barney Bentall returns with his 10th album and what is arguably his most personal record to date, The Drifter and The Preacher. They went on to become staples on Canadian radio with twenty Top 30 singles. Barney is most well-known for his 1990s-era band, Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts. He has also recorded under the pseudonym Brandon Wolf. He's also performed with Shari Ulrich and Tom Taylor as BTU.

Barney Bentall is loved globally for his band the Legendary Hearts, that over ten years in the 80s and 90s had more than nine hit singles, won Juno Awards and achieved platinum status for multiple albums. All original new songs aside from the covers InchYou're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You GoInch (Bob Dylan) and InchShadowsInch (Gordon Lightfoot), the album is infused with hope with lyrics that focus on love, longing and loss.
