A: • Select a large, fixed object you want the safe to be attached to (e.g., a heavy table leg, bed frame, or other immovable anchor). • Wrap the cable around that anchor object, and thread one end of the cable through the loop at the other end of the cable to form a secure loop around the object. • Open the safe • Locate the cable slot on the safe. • Insert the unused loop end of the steel cable (with the metal stopper portion) through the cable slot of the safe. • Close and lock the safe. Then tug on the cable slightly to confirm that the safe is securely tethered to the anchor object

Small gun safe
Safe was light weight and kind of flimsy. It was average quality.

This safe was an ok deal for the price but truly not overly sturdy.

BAD BUY
The instructions for opening AND changing the lock code are inside the safe. You have to figure out how to get into it. Hint: use 000 & it will open. Followed instructions on how to change the lock code and that worked. Put all of my important papers inside the safe; SS card, birth certificate, immunization records, etc. & closed it. Wanted to place a couple of other things in the safe but it WOULDN’T open. Tried multiple times. Even tried going back to the original ‘000’ code but still WOULDN’T open!! Took it Best Buy to see what they could do. Nope, they couldn’t open it either. They can’t break it open because then it can’t be returned. They told me to get a locksmith. Uhhh, NO! So, I brought it back home and will try to get it open throughout the day. I DO NOT recommend this lockbox!!!!!!!!
