Extraordinary, powerful, movie collection. That brings true meaning to action packed, big Willie movies. The visuals are second, to none. I just can’t wait to buy a second copy as a contingency to any situations.

This 4k version was perfect. My only criticism about the trilogy in general, the sound should of been upgraded to DTS-X or Dolby Atmos

Bought this Black Friday and got a weird copy. Digital code was already used and the uhd disc had blurriness issues looked awful. Went to exchange for a different copy and it has the same issues. Is not my player because Dark Knight looks fantastic on my UBP X70. Disappointed.

The Dark Knight trilogy is one of the greatest super hero movie series in modern time, perhaps even of all time. And while TDK and TDKR are often well remembered for their acting cast and great story, one must never forget that Batman Begins certainly does not fail in these respects. The story, acting, visuals, and audio are all very well pressed in this release.

I don't give a lot of five-star reviews, but the first two movies in the Nolan Trilogy on 4K are absolutely worthy. Although the extras are laying on the 4K discs, the included Blu-ray has a good chunk of them. Fantastic movie which is surpassed only by the sequel in the Batman franchise. Legitimate 4k, not an upscale.

When this movie first came out in 2005 I just dismissed it as “another cash grab Batman movie” but boy oh boy this is great. It has aged great in 4K, along with the HDR the real kicker though is it’s IMAX ratio. It may not have as many scenes with this ratio as the other 2 films but it does make a difference.

You know, I have the entire set of all things "Batman". It might be an obsession that I'm sure some therapist..somewhere..would raise an eyebrow at but, you know what?, I don't care. That character in all of its configurations, from Adam West going forward, I love it. This movie is superior.

This genre was almost forgotten when Nolan took over the Batman franchise, and he took it to another level by adding his signature moves and tricks. Great performance by Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Liam Nesson! It's a must have in your collection if you are a Batman fan or Nolan fan.

Groundbreaking Batman that is grounded in realism. Fantastic origins story. The Villains are terrific hats off to Liam. Gary Oldmas is the best Commissioner Gordon. Everyone was fantastic in there roles. The 4K blew me out of the water. Excellent picture quality and sound

Hindsight makes for 20/20...Batman Begins was considered to be saving the Bat franchise in 2005 when it came out because Batman and Robin in 1997 had killed it with its psychedelic camp, weird product placement (bat credit card), and really boring story. The Bat franchise makes its fans experience whiplash as it flips back and forth between trend setting dynamics (Batman 66, Batman 89) and horror inducing output (B&R 97). Batman Begins was a trendsetter in its own way, although it wasn't overly recognized for that until its sequel, the Dark Knight, came out. BB had to escape the long shadow of B&R, which it did. Not everything is perfect. Bale's Batman Voice still produces more humor effect at times than intimidation ("wheeeeeere are the druuuuuuugs" lol) and the fight choreography is...bad...and poorly filmed...but the innovation to make Batman exist in the "real world" really set off a trend that had movie studios putting their own IP through a "...Begins" process (ahem, James Bond with Casino Royale for example) It isn't perfect (what movie is) and it collapses a bit under itself toward the end (and Batman doesn't stand by and let people kill themselves or contribute to their death...but ok) but still one of the best live action Batman films ever. If you want a good batman film, the animated ones are usually much stronger contenders but this is absolutely worth your time. The 4K upgrade is pretty impressive as well. Extras are just imported over from the previous blu ray, but if you have a 4K set up (or find this at a decent price) it's worth your time to "begin" the bat trilogy over again.

While not the best of the Chris Nolan Batman Trilogy, it did a lot to get the bad taste of George Clooney Batman out of the audiences mind, bringing Batman back into more serious minded "Super Hero" film. The film shines in UHD!

In the beginning there was Batman. This is the retailing of the classic Batman story as we all know and love. Christian Bale does a very good job as Bruce Wayne/Batman in this story. The 4K only enhances what we already know is to be the first of a great trilogy. A must buy for any Batman fan. A must buy for anyone who wants a great 4K movie. All in all great movie highly recommend.

Like all Christopher Nolan films, the first of the Dark Knight Trilogy really benefits from the 4K upgrade, especially this one, given its age (first released in 2005). Gotham City has never looked and sounded so good.

This is one of the few movies that I have bought on DVD, then Blu-ray, and now 4K UHD. Different than many 4K movies, the Dark Knight series is actually in true 4K not just 2K with HDR. The detail is amazing and the sound is excellent. This is one of those films that is a true showpiece for a home theater setup. And that's not to mention that the movie is great, and a good setup for the future movies that would release.
