THE BEST GAME EVER MADE AND PLAYED ALL TIME AWSOME

Overall, this is a great game. The joke always is that there really isn't a campaign to these games, that people just buy them for the multiplayer. Well, I guess I'm the exception. I felt the single player was alright, although short, which is about par for the course for these types of games nowadays, sadly. The multiplayer isn't bad, it just really isn't my kind of thing. But, all in all, it's a good game.

The game is far from perfect as everyone stated, most people seem to have or had issues in the past. My short review is on what I've experienced since I've owned the game (12/30/13 ). I will compare some things to the current Call of Duty. (No mechanics but comparable things) Pros 1. Graphics - Far superior than Call of Duty: Ghosts, I own both and this by far is much more realistic and pleasing to the eyes. 2. Controls - Maybe is just me. But both game utilize Aim assist on the console, which I use. However, no matter how much I fiddle with the sensitivity on Ghosts, the controls are too loose or too tight. This game I messed with the settings for a day or 2 while getting used to the controls and I have no issues aiming and shooting. I do feel the Aim assist in this game is a little more helpful/forgiving than Ghosts. 3. Map -Maps can be from Huge (Conquest), Large (Rush) and Medium (Team Deathmatch). Maps will adapt depending on the size needed. Cons 1. Network/Servers - once in a while the game freezes up and crashes. All in All. I enjoy this game over CoD:Ghosts. That said. I enjoyed CoD: Black Ops 2 over Battlefield 3 when they were out.

In all honesty this game was rushed to market and came out a hot mess. However, enough time has passed that the game resembles what it was intended to be all along. The continuous bug fixes and additition of what were glaringly missing features (like the ability to party up before joining a game, etc.) have allowed the game to hit it's stride. Nice visuals, good sound and solid mechanics set the stage for a clichèd, but entertaining campaign (completion of which unlocks one of 3 superior starting weapons for MP depending on your final choice) and the highly addictive multiplayer. This game has good legs, maybe not setting the world on fire, but very high replay ability. For what it's worth the DLC maps for this game have all been quality. Not my overall favorite, even in the BF series, but solid enough I purchased it for XBone after having the 360 version at launch (which was a hot mess... No more tho). Might have stared at 3.5 if it was possible, but only to protest rushing the game to market. And not for the actual game. I don't see many regrets with a purchase of BF4 (particularly at this point). Still highly trafficked mp games btw

I'm not attracted to the gunfire but my teen loves the game. Graphics and storyline make the game look so real.

Waited until it was on a good sale to buy our second copy so I could play online with my older son. This is definitely his most played game. Campaign was good, even though it was a little short. Online is where things really pick up, and there are moments that are really incredible. Unfortunately if you are just starting out, there are so many good players out there that you might get a little overwhelmed. Keep at it though. Rewards will come!

This game is all out fantastic! The 64 person multiplayer games can be very intense and satisfying. I love the vehicles that they have in the games. There is nothing quite like flying an Apache into a combat zone. The dynamic maps change while you are in the game to add a little extra challenge. Also if that pesky camper keeps picking you off from a second story building just place a few c4 or a couple of RPGs and blow that building to bits.

Great action game, great sound and video effects. Lots of action. Plays great on an Xbox One. There are still a few bugs in the program where you can fall through the map upon spawning - even though the game has taken multiple updates. Just find a place to crawl out of the "under sea" map, and then you'll be fine. Also purchased the Battlefield 4 Premium Edition upgrade - was on sale for awhile on Xbox Live. The upgrade worked O.K., but took days for the Stats and bonus packages to be reflected online and on their web site. The only complaint from me is that you can be thrown into matches where the other players are at million-level ranking....

Battlefield 4 for xbox one is interesting war game. Graphics looks very good especially the surroundings, attacks, explosions, etc. Pretty good choice of guns too Like the engage team feature where you can direct your team members to attack on specific area. Only con is Battlefield 4 campaign story is short and ends abruptly.

The game itself is great, story line and play is great, have not tried the online, but can say when putting it in and letting it install, it also downloaded updates which even with cable internet with a 15 meg DL speed. It took forever to finish updates, which kept getting error's. Even though I was not playing online, just solo story mode the game kept stating if I didn't finish the downloads multiplayer may not function properly, then have to cancel that and go back to the solo play. Looking on the games websites it a server error on their side, not the XBox or my connection, as stopping the game and watching NetFlix just fine with no lags or buffering. After playing the game for almost 2 weeks at 2-3 hours a night, 5 hours the first night, It finally was able to finish getting its updates and downloads, then the game played fine with no errors or pauses. Outside of that, The game is great.

The version I am running as of this review (1/2015) is not buggy and is stable...not seeing any of the previous bugs/problems reported. Played both single and multi-player without issues. Hoping they get the delayed "Hardcore" version stable before they release it too early and destroy the Battlefield product/name.

This is a technical perfect game! The graphics, physics, sound etc are incredible! By this time you know what you are getting with this franchise, but this game does do a couple things different. There is a interactive practice feature that allows you to try all the weapons, boats, jeeps, planes and helicopters. I really liked that because the learning curve is very high in this game. DO NOT THINK YOU ARE BUY THIS GAME AND SOON BE GOOD AT MULTIPLAYER! It will not happen. I would recommend this game if you want an AUTHENTIC military game. Otherwise, stick with COD.
