Beechwood - Trash Glamour - VINYL LP

Debut vinyl outing from British ska/reggae act who formed in the early 90s a infectious concept album that lyrically references 60's political events using samples and looped drums/horns. A 90's style electronica/ska hybrid that's unique in today's scene.

What happens when an anti-social petty thief, a male hustler, and a delinquent runaway come together to join forces in the streets of NYC? One of two things, usually. Either the birth of a gang of misfit criminals, or a legendary rock & roll band. Luckily, for society's sake, the latter has turned out to be true for Beechwood.

After singing about his desire for emancipation on his debut album A.M.I.E.S.A.M.O.U.R, LUMIÈRE now leaves the countryside to perform in the city with the ambition of conquering new audiences. GLAM, a 13-song concept album, was recorded in collaboration with Alexandre Martel, a prolific musician and record producer with whom LUMIÈRE had also worked on his first album.
