I support Audio Visual equipment for meetings of a Genealogical Society. We need to Connect a variety of computers to Projectors for presentations. This is a very nice connection that allows newer computer with only a HDMI port to display on projectors with VGA ports and also Older computers with VGA ports to connect to newer equipment using HDMI. It works well and easily. Good Value.

I purchased this adapter to connect my older (pre 2010s , but still excellent, projector (VGA) to my newer laptop (HDMI). The adapter worked perfectly. My VGA cable had the screws necessary to tighten the VGA. So no duct tape needed! We were able to stream a movie from my laptop, and send it to my projector seamlessly! It's been a few weeks since I have used it, but as I remember, the plug-ins on the top of the main part of the adapter (not viewable in the product photo) enabled the male AUX sound cables to be plugged into the projector. It all worked perfectly.

I have several computers that I connect with a KVM Switch to a large VGA monitor. The two most recently acquired computers don't have a VGA connector, just HDMI. This adapter fits the bill perfectly. I bought the first one a year or so ago and the second one last month. Easy to use. Just plug-and-play. Works for both the video and the sound.

I have an arcade machine with an old VGA monitor stuck inside. This adapter allows me to use my current graphics card with HDMI to feed the VGA monitor it's signal. The adapter also has a plug in for a sound cable which I also needed for the arcade cabinet. Does what I need and does it well!

This item allows me to plug a new computer with a hdmi port to a vga monitor with ease. It works on the first try without any issues.

When I received my new desktop tower, I realized that there wasn't a VGA port on it for me to be able to use my old monitor. The new monitor that I had ordered was not going to be available for six weeks, but my computer is a daily necessity. Little things mean a lot--a simple cable converter that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Works well, connectors are not loose, seems durable.

Plug it in & forget it. It just works, let's you get a little more life out of those older VGA displays.

I needed an adapter to connect an HDMI output to a VGA monitor. This works as promised and allows me to use an older VGA monitor with my Raspberry Pi 4 HDMI output. It does this all internally without the need for any software driver.
