A: It will not work for your S7. You would need a micro USB wire. The wire it comes with is the USB-C, which works with S8 and S9.

A: If your Samsung accepts type C lightning connection. My phone is older but I just switched to micro universal and it charges it very well. I will use the type C connector for when I upgrade
