This product has limitations on the displays based on the version of DisplayLink that is built into the device. For anyone purchasing who's hoping to go dual display above 1280 x 1060 be sure to lookup what others have experienced with the same monitors. Technically it does work, but for me with two high end Dell monitors, I was limited to 30hz refresh rate on one monitor (totally unacceptable in today's day and age) and 60hz refresh on the other. That being said, a comparable high end DisplayLink that supports 4k resolutions at 60hz is double the price. Works great if it fits your needs, just make sure to do your research about your monitors and needs first.

This is pretty much the only thing I could find that allowed a dual monitor setup on my M1 Mac. Works as expected but it's pricey and you have to enable screen recording for it to work. Not ideal but better than having mirrored monitors. And on upside, it's compact and keeps the workspace organized with cable management.
